"I love this resort. It’s so beautiful. My room was fantastic, clean and perfect position to the pools and restaurants. I stayed 7 years ago and was happy to be back. There is construction of the beach area at the moment so the noise and fumes were not the best, but it stopped around 5pm. The resort was kind enough to have a free shuttle service to Virgin Beach which was beautiful. Staff were very apologetic. It’s not the resort’s fault. Food in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner was amazing. Love the staff. Thank you everyone. "

"Our stay at Kalandara Resort in Lombok was truly breath-taking. We chose this resort for our honeymoon, and it exceeded every expectation—we did not regret our decision for a single moment. "The stay at Maya was nice and the area was beautiful. The Villas are very peaceful as well as the whole property. There is a nice calm feeling at this resort as it feels secluded even though it is very close to the downtown Ubud area. The live performances at dinner were a fun addition; if that be the traditional dancing at the main restaurant or the band doing cover songs at the bar. We are giving Maya 4 stars rather than 5 because a lot of the amenities stopped between 5 and 7 which created multiple inconvenient experiences on trip. For example, the tram is a great amenity that takes guests to downtown Ubud but it only runs from 9am to 5pm. This is such an early time to be shutting down this amenity. In addition the pools and spa close at 7pm which seems very early. Regardless of the amenities, this was a very nice resort to have some calm and just be."

"Nice pool with sufficient number of loungers. Breakfast was just ok as some baked goods were not fresh, and quality overall just ok. Would have loved a better selection of fruit and fresh fruit juice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious but washroom small. Convenient to walk to many restaurants and stores."

"Very nice stay on Gili T. This hotel is located on the west end of the island which is quieter and less rowdy. I walked here from the pier in 30 mins with my luggage by cutting through the middle of the island. There isn't a beach here, rather just a wall where the waves hit, and you're separated by the road. Staff is kind, especially the two ladies in the front reception and I had a great balinese massage by a sweet masseuse. Live music every night from fantastic musicians. Breakfast is ordered Ala carte and is just ok in my opinion. Lots of seating by the pool, but they are very particular about the beach umbrellas. Perhaps because they break so easily. Island is small and you can rent a bicycle from the front desk. You can ride around the island in an hour. One day I rode around 3x. Cute resident cat. "

"The place is very impressive as you enter into the reception. All staff are very welcoming and happy. We were seen to our room quickly with lovely refreshments. The room itself was well equipped and had an open shower so it felt fresh even in the rain. The breakfast has a wide choice of foods situated on the terrace over looking the pool. The room was beautiful and had great amount of outdoor seating for each villa. It was a very peaceful and wholesome stay and we could not thank the staff enough for making it feel special. At the front of the resort, there is a beautiful beach that belongs to them. A selection of sun loungers, hammocks and a beach swing to suit all. The only thing that can make the stay 10/10 is some small paint refreshments in the room ."
