The location was the best thing about the property.. if not for its location and it’s pet-friendly policy, I probably would not recommend this hotel.

Location is perfect for the price. Not fancy, but if you're looking for the basics just off the beach, this is your place. We'll be back!

Decent location. Thin walls, understaffed, no WiFi, no phone in room, keycards had to be replaced 4 times in 3 days because they just stopped working. Breakfast was a joke.

The breakfast was a joke. At 8:00 in the morning there was only 3 yogurts in the the fridge down there, two pop tarts and three granola bars. The out side exterior and parking lot was filthy and fill of trash everywhere. The room had a hair in the tub and on the bed.

The staff was not attentive, and people were running up and down the halls all night. There is a security issue as anyone can access the elevator and stairs from the ground level.

Not what was expected at all for an ocean view room, based on the pictures. The hotel itself was very outdated, one of the pillows had hair on it, the bathroom had patched holes that were not blended in or painted over, the shower head was the lowest I had ever seen (I’m 5’ 11” and had to bend over to get under it), I could go on and on. The room opened up to a tarred-over rooftop that was littered with trash, and the ocean was across a busy 5-lane highway. I felt like I was at a Motel 6 off a remote road in the middle of nowhere. Won’t ever go back if I can help it.

The pictures we see online arw nothing like that in person most of the rooms have not been updated. The carpeted ones seen to be very dirty as well as the wholeways and elvators the ice machine had nasty dirty moldy mildhew. You weee able to use the balcony and are room was on the 2nd floor that was right on top of a buildings roof that had trash and cigarettes all over it. There was no ac just a box fan and the room smelled like cigarette smoke and it was a non smoking room The building was very old out dated and not well taken care of as well as the staff that was acrosss the street at a different is where we had to check in and or out or have the breakfast which was old pasrtiers abd when asked if i could get some juice which there was a sign to ask for it the younger staff member didnt want to get more out as i ovwr heard her tell a co worker instead told me there wasnt any more vwry rudly when there was still 20mins left till the end.

They didn't have any record of my reservation through Expedia. No rooms, no apologies. The place looked horrible and overpriced. But the worst was the poor attitude of the staff.

Apparently this hotel accepts room reservations even after being full. Charged for the room despite not being able to stay there. Terrible experience. Drove out to this location to find that there was nowhere for us to stay. Seemed to be happening to multiple people.

Everything would have been pretty good overall except for VERY loud children running back and fourth in the room above us, waking us up at 6-7 am every morning and continuing throughout most of the time we were there. It was as if we were inside of a bass drum almost non stop, no fun... We called and complained a couple times but there wasn't much they could do. The Floors were very dirty, very... My husband, children and i had black feet and had to lay towels down next to the bed to wipe our feet down before getting onto the beds. Tables were sticky and crummy, the sink drain kept coming apart and leaking all over the floor. Without these issues i think our vacation would have been a different story. I'm really not a picky person and hate to complain but i would never stay here again.

Go somewhere else

We booked an ocean view room on hotels.com, when we got to the room, it was NOT ocean view and had a do not disturb sign on it as if someone was staying in the room. Went back to the office. We were told we did not book a ocean view room and they had none available. Also told just to go into the room, there shouldn’t be anyone there. Got into the room, there was trash on the floor near the nightstand. We packed everything back to the car, got a refund and stayed somewhere else for the trip.

Room was located on top of a roof of a strip mall, they were doing construction on the balconies above us so, for 10 straight hours we listened to drills, jackhammers and construction noises (not great for a relaxing get a way) the room was dirty and upon inspecting more, there was dirt and stains every where. The shower head only works if you are 5’0 or shorter and the hot water isn’t hot. On our second night out electronic keys stopped working and when I went to the OFF SITE lobby, the man told me that they had “no guests” in my room number and I had to argue for 30 mins for him to give me new keys to the room that I paid for and my stuff was in. It was a headache from start to finish. We won’t be returning.

The place definitely feels like a rundown hotel where they lazy-remodeled. It wasn’t like TERRIBLE but definitely not great. Would I stay there again? If better things aren’t available, yeah it’s fine. But definitely going to try to find something better first next time
