I showed up extremely late at night and my host was there to welcome and show me the room right away. Very clean, very spacious, and comfortable. Definitely worth the value.

Hotel facilities are in excellent condition and clean. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. I was provided a free upgrade on one of my two nights there. Hotel is located a considerable distance from the main commercial area of the city (e.g. 1-hour walk from the government buildings), meaning to go anywhere effectively requires a taxi, but otherwise the hotel area felt safe and secure.

Lovely staff and great breakfast There are two lovely large rooms one with a balcony and one very small room a bit tight. All rooms have very nice in-suite bathrooms. Tv and fan. No a/c. Bathroom window needs a screen. Shared kitchen and living room.

Great property but not walkable to activities.

We were there for just one night. We came by Taxi, and felt a little stuck when we arrived, as there is nothing to do within walking distance. We had both dinner and breakfast at the property, which were very good. It was spacious, clean, and generally very comfortable.

A beautiful stay in Lilongwe

Our biggest hinderance was the language barrier. It made getting help with the TV difficult and ordering food resulted in incorrect food being served. We appreciated their heart and effort, but if this property intends to cater to foreign guests, then a command of English is essential.

Ihan ok B&B, mutta syrjäinen paikka ja huono netti

Rakennus oli kohtuullisen uusi. Huoneeni oli siisti, mutta aika yksinkertainen ja pieni. Ilmastointia ei ollut. Ikkunan sai auki, mutta siinä ei ollut hyttysverkkoa. Sängylle oli kuitenkin oma hyttysverkkonsa. Sijainti oli asuinalueella yli 10 km päässä Lilongwen ydinkeskustasta. Lähellä ei ollut mitään palveluita, joten ilman autoa paikassa on aika jumissa. B&B:stä sai ruokaa, mutta se olisi pitänyt tilata etukäteen (viimeistään sen päivän aamuna, kun haluaa syödä). Taksi ensimmäisen maailmansodan muistomerkille (n. puolivälissä matkalla ydinkeskustaan) maksoi 15000 kwachaa eli n. 8 euroa. Area 25:lle keskustasta menevät pikkubussit jättivät vähän yli kolmen kilometrin päähän M1-tielle. Netti toimi huoneessa todella huonosti (vain harvoina hetkinä). Aulassa se toimi paremmin, mutta sielläkin pätkien. Aamupalan aika piti ilmoittaa etukäteen, mutta sain sen silti melkein puoli tuntia myöhässä. Kokki teki sen minua varten. Aamupala oli runsas ja laadukas. Siinä oli nuudeleita, omeletti, yksi makkara, omenaa, vesimelonia, muroja ja papuja. Henkilökunta oli paikalla klo 18 asti. Senkin jälkeen portilla päivysti vartija.
