Everything about this stay was phenomenal. Great view of the lake, office manager was nice and helpful with easy check-in. Place was clean and appeared to be recently renovated. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the Grand Suites at Lake Tekapo. The room was wonderful, the view was exceptional and the location was perfect I wish we could have stayed longer. Check in was quick and easy and they have a book in the room that explains everything about the room and how to use the fireplace.

Grand Suites Lake Tekapo – Outstanding stay This was one of our favorite stays. The suite was large, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out, with a great sense of openness. The kitchenette had everything you’d need for a proper stay — and the bathroom and shower were especially impressive: modern, spacious, and very well finished. Everything was spotless, well maintained, and clearly designed with comfort in mind. Location is also excellent — easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, the lake, and all the main sights in Tekapo.

What a beautiful property. Reception staff was fabulous and the room was very special. We looked out over the lake and enjoyed every minute we had at this property. It is super convenient to the main sites.

Loved the convenient location and awesome views of the bridge and lake from our room (#21). Several restaurants nearby with a variety of food types. Very spacious room with surprising kitchen features and utensils. Loved the heated tile floors in the bathroom and fresh milk provided for Nespresso coffee in the room. Good book in room full of information on local and hotel things. Good for a week long stay but sadly we only had one night. Would definitely return for more hiking.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Grand Suites. The rooms were spacious and we had a stunning view of the lake. Clean and modern, we felt so comfortable here. Can't fault it. Check in was easy and the host was friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend staying here.

The girl at the front desk was very helpful upon our arrival. Gave us plenty of useful info including a new great place to eat. Everything was perfect except for5 one thing. There is windows next to the front door that light comes in all night and first thing in the morning even though they have great black out drapes on patio windows.

The hotel itself is beautiful and my room was superb. Very spacious and had been very updated. Luxurious room and bathroom with a kitchenette and views of the lake and mountains. Also it is in walking distance to the village and waterfront, which is good. One good perk was a laundry room with free detergent though you need coins to use the machines. Overall I would have loved an extra night in this hotel as it was very nice and comfortable. My one issue was with unfriendly staff.
