The rooms are cozy with deck space overlooking Lake Como and the Getaway restaurant was on the property with a beautiful terraced patio. The food and service were great!

Very historical place, there are remodeling and doing a great job, very clean, everything you need right on the property. The manager Eric, is very nice and accommodating. The restaurant on site has very good food and the service is excellent to hidden gem

there were bugs all in our room and the office closes at 8 pm so I had to leave a message, we left at 9 that night we did not stay and nobody called me back to return my voicemail, I had to call again the following Monday.

This property had a great waterfront balcony with a view. It was quiet when we were there and we enjoyed our stay and would return. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were a little soft but not bad for a couple nights. I was not crazy about the food or drinks at the restaurant. We had pasta dishes and they were just ok for us. The drinks we had were $14 each and really sweet so would probably skip the restaurant next time. The pool was great, it went up to 9ft deep and we enjoyed our time at the pool. The little beach area had kayaks, paddle boards and water bikes for you to use which although we didn’t have time, I loved that they offered this!

Old and overpriced

Everything was old and the only thing actually worked was that there were nice towels. Hard to give details of every little thing. Plus, WAY overpriced for what was received. Another issue came up while there, that was resolved by a super nice and understanding desk person. Appreciated him a lot !

We were attending a wedding at Geneva National, so it was very convenient. But particularly for the whopping $650 we paid, it was VERY underwhelming. Pretty old, and the smoke alarm went off when using a hair straightener! Ceiling fan was very rickety, noisy all night but needed because it was quite hot. Pictures are a bit deceiving, this is not a luxury property.

Lovely location on Lake Como and the staff is wonderful. The room was nice but the bathroom features could use some improvement and resulted in my only giving 3 stars in my review regarding condition.

A nice quiet place by the water with charm and wonderful hospitality. The room was clean and old fashioned with a great lake view. The restaurant was GREAT. Every staff member was friendly and did their work with a smile on their face - a rare find these days.

This property is an old motel that they are remodeling into a cute, more modern lake spot. We got one of the old rooms that had not been remodeled. The air conditioner was extremely loud and would turn off and on. The balcony is a communal balcony that you share with all your neighbors (not ideal). And the water spits out at you due to the inconsistent water pressure. But the worst part was that we had small bugs on our room. We asked to be moved to another room which the staff resisted at first but finally moved us. Our second room was remodeled and much nicer and no bugs!! Overall, it was not even close to worth the $550 a night we paid.

Just wonderful!

Wonderful! We arrived and learned we were getting a fully remodeled room #103 that it was just within minutes of being completed. We sat out front with the lovely owners until our room was ready. Stunning view, wonderful bed, and large walk-in shower with a bench in it. The restaurant on the property had incredibly good food and great waiters! We would highly recommend and would love to come back! Thank you!

Nice spot to relax

We have stayed here many times before. The restaurant is NOT open for breakfast all week so be prepared to go elsewhere. There is no breakfast included, which should be changed on their main page. Not a dealbreaker but would have been nice to know. Very relaxing and friendly service

Really enjoyed our stay

Our first visit here was wonderful and in line with many other reviews. My only negative comment is that the bedroom curtains were not black out. It was too light for me to sleep in. Other than that, it was clean, comfortable, quiet and the closest thing to a resort visit I have experienced. We ate at the Getaway next door, a new restaurant on the water with excellent food. My husband had fun birding nearby, and I had fun exploring at the nearby Pesche Garden Center.

You can not beat the view it is beautiful. However the condition of our room was lacking. Mismatched furniture no place to put your clothes, the room really needed a complete update. Pretty much every area needed to be touched. Breakfast was delicious. Eric did a great job of making sure there was more than enough food was available. I would be interested in coming back when renovations are complete it is my understanding they are slowly updating the Inn.

Decided to try this place out. It definitely has potential and a great location. But it’s old and dated. They definitely need to do some updates. Beds were too soft and so were the pillows. It was hard to maintain the temp in the room. It’s loud. You can hear everything and everyone one. The restaurant is amazing! Very good food and service! Lots of lake view tables!

Our room had a fireplace but when we turned it on it had a little smell. Not of gas. Maybe it was just not used recently so we turned it off. Our coupon for breakfast was great. The only thing was my coffee cup was so hot it almost burnt my lips every time I took a drink. It wasn’t the coffee it was my cup.
