"Room and free food were a touch basic and 100% satisfactory (coffee, tea, water, milk; bread, packaged croissants, cheese, cold cuts, eggs, jams, cereal). Right on the mark for the price. Location is close to local grocery options, but a hearty walk to old town activity or the beach. I did the walk each day, but some may prefer a ride or bus."

"I loved every bit of this hotel down to the little things . Room was clean and they offer to change daily if you want .breakfast buffet was off the charts with soo many options which I loved . Staff was very friendly and helpful . Very serene and quiet around the hotel which was important for me . It’s walkable to beach and the old town so it’s perfect to do many things around without a car"

"My husband and I stayed for 2 nights and it was wonderful. We arrived by bus from Lisbon and walked over to the Inn very easily with our luggage. It would be very difficult to drive to it as it’s within the centre of shops and restaurants with no road around it. We loved it. The Inn itself is very quaint, very steep stairs, and all 4 rooms are up stairs. Would not recommend to someone who has difficulty with stairs. Our suite was perfect with a nice little balcony that got the late afternoon...

"Our overall stay was good. The location was excellent. The staff at the front desk was very helpful. They set us up with a lovely person that drove us to see different areas at a very reasonable rate. The breakfast was outstanding. The room were very clean and had good blackout curtains. The one negative thing was the layout of the room. The bathroom was not separate and was spread out over most of the room and didn’t allow for any privacy ie. the sink was in the middle of the room, toilet ...

"L’appartement que vous nous aviez réservé ayant été inondé, vous nous avez attribué un appartement de « luxe ». Spaciosité de l’appartement, 2 toilettes / bidet, 3grandes chambres confortables, cuisine ‘‘ acceptable’’. Tranquilité du quartier. Trafic bruyant (boulevard à proximité) même la nuit, particulièrement dû aux apassges de mobylettes de livraison très bruyantes, Manque d’oreiller (pillow), espace de stationnement restreint,"

"The Belmar was a lovely condo with beautiful views. We were 4 women on a girls trip and thought the location was good to walk to some restaurants and an easy uber ride into Lagos. We each received massages from the spa and all of us said they were excellent! The only downside would be that you have to go upstairs to get to the bedrooms, however that did not bother us. We highly recommend the Belmar."

"Clean and quiet hotel with a beachy boho vibe and lovely garden. The little kitchen in our suite had everything we needed for a couple of meals in. It’s a short walk to the centre and boardwalk/beaches. The staff were very kind and one of them saved the day by sorting out the tv for us so we could watch the football game! Great place to stay."
