"Well run and maintained charm. Stayed in the 5-unit building on the beachside of the property so got to see the constant attention and upgrades to the facility and grounds - nice to see re-investment and maintenance rather than the neglect that often seems to be the case for tourist towns. "Although we enjoyed our stay here the overall impression of the hotel is that it really needs updating. The rooms were tired, with many issues such as dated curtains that were either open or closed. As we had a ground floor beach front villa this gave little/no privacy if the curtains were open. Net type curtains in the main bedroom at least would have improved this. "Hello Fellow Travelers, I had a wonderful stay at Motifs. I enjoyed the eco consciousness that went into the planning, and the simplicity of the accommodations. I ate a tasty, filling breakfast to start off my day, which usually entailed walking through nearby areas from King Taksin Park, Chanthaboon Waterfront area across the river to the Cathedral and Temple areas. I had restful nights and fulfilling days from Eco Motifs. The staff was very attentive and always available. I will definitely stay there when in Chanthaburi next time."
