"Stayed here for one night when we went Whale watching. It was a self check in property but the hosts responded very quickly when I asked questions. The actual apartment was a bit dark but it was in the basement so to be expected. There were all the amenities needed which was great as we cooked dinner there that night. It was far from any town so you have to make sure you either bring food or eat before you get there but is very convenient to the East ferry if you are going Whale watching on Brier island!"
"Loved staying here. Room was very clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. The room has everything you require for your stay - a microwave, a mini fridge, a kettle, a toaster. The most important was the view which is incredible. The property is on water and every room has a ocean view!"
"Digby pines is a beautiful property and the food was excellent for breakfast and dinner ( there is no lunch service or English tea service anymore which is disappointing)our servers Elizabeth and Tiffany were fabulous all wait staff excellent.
The pool is great, gym and sauna too ,my sister enjoyed her pedicure at the spa . There could be a hot tub or therapy pool ? The pool was cold at 76 f but it was hot and sunny day.
We stayed in a suite , overlooking the basin,it was beautiful, except for the bathroom. The bathroom was tiny with a wonky door ,and the shower was really bad ,very old plumbing, patched over with a quick fix nozzle ,took 10 min to regulate temperature and shower was awful ,not acceptable really, for a room that is 450_$ Canadian a night. There was no microwave, and no room service.
The tennis court has been abandoned an d dry branches and garbage on the courts ,very unsightly and a fire hazard.
The cabins look very run down ,to maintain this beautiful property I'm sure is expensive, but the upgrades should happen if Digby Pines is to remain open to the public which I hope it does .
The grounds were beautiful but there's alot of work to be done

"Fantastic place. So clean. Really friendly staff and helpful.
Could use a restaurant close by, but they are looking in to that soon.
Beautiful views and amazing sunset.
Sauna was a welcome addition.
Wish we could stay longer."
