Amazing! highly recommend this place. Maria was really helpful, quick to respond and friendly. Beautifully decorated, breakfast was amazing, home made jams and cakes. The building and rooms have a lot of character. Beautiful property with a nice courtyard and a nice pool.

Could be great with a few fixes
The pillows are the worst I’ve ever came across at a hotel. The shower can best be described as a wide trickle, zero water pressure at all. My room was by the street, so beginning at 6:30 or so the morning traffic zooming by prevented you from sleeping any later. The owner has to let you in to the hotel every time. You don’t get a key to the hotel, only to your room. Upon my initial arrival I waited several minutes outside and had to ring the doorbell multiple times. This happened again the next day after dinner. I can’t imagine how it would work had I chosen to do one of the observatory tours. Best case scenario is you’re waking the owner up at 2am to let you in. Seems there is a chance you’ll just be stuck out on the street unless you start pounding on the door to be let in by another guest. My room was right by the front door, so if you want to go to sleep early too bad. With the owner needing to let every guest into the hotel every time they leave there is commotion until all guests have arrived for the night. Do not park your vehicle on the street outside, you will get a ticket. The owner knew I was driving and parked on the street, but didn’t feel the need to tell me for some reason. There are no signs indicating any parking restrictions on the whole street. Bring your own soap and shampoo, none provided. WiFi worked well, the owner is very nice so I don’t want to be typing this. But if you chose this place to “class up” like I did, I’d choose elsewhere.

Das Hotel ist von Aussen unauffällig, aber hinter den Mauern verbirgt sich ein Juwel: die individuell gestalteten Zimmer wurden mit viel Liebe gestaltet, die alten Gemäuer geben dem Hotel einen edlen Charme. Die Besitzerin sowie sämtliche Angestellte sind jederzeit für ihre Gäste da und sorgen mit viel Enthusiasmus für Wohlergehen und einen schönen Aufenthalt. Der hauseigene Swimmingpool lädt zum Entspannen ein und man fühlt sich in der familiären, unkomplizierten Umgebung sofort wohl. Wir können diesen wunderbaren Ort wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Excellent. Do not be fooled by the exterior (like we were), When the door is opened you will be meet with smile. The moment we entered the lobby I knew that this was the place for us. The lobby , courtyard , pool area are all very inviting. Accommodations are spacious , comfortable and clean. The homemade breakfasts are beyond excellent. Everything is homemade and wonderfully presented. The owner and staff are genuinely attentive and caring. We highly recommend this hotel. Enjoy your stay J&J

Atendimento excelente pela equipe do hotel. Apesar de ficar em uma rua acanhada, distante da avenida beira-mar, o hoje é muito aconchegante, bem decorado nos mínimos detalhes (estilo rústico, fazenda), com um café da manhã excelente, preparado com todo carinho pela equipe do hotel.

Excellent service
My daughter and her grandma are traveling together in La Serena and I made the reservation on Hotels.com from the US, the hotel was so easy to work with as I wanted to pay for their stay and the hotel made this seamless. My mom and daughter had a great time at the hotel and only had positive things to say. On their last night the hotel even had a holiday party and all the guest were invited. Can’t wait until I can travel there and stay here myself.

Die Gastgeberin ist eine Wucht. Wir waren im Winter die einzigen Gäste und hatten gewissermaßen Familienanschluss. Alles sehr persönlich, gute Tipps. Auch schon im Vorfeld der Anreise stand die Gastgeberin zur Verfügung. Das Haus ist aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, sehr gepflegt, aber kühl. Und sehr zentral. Das einzige Manko ist, dass es kein Türschild gibt. Man kann sich nur an der Hausnummer orientieren. Das ist, wenn man nachts anreist, etwas anstrengend. Ich würde aber auf jeden Fall wieder dort buchen.

This property was formerly a private home that was turned into a small boutique hotel. I believe that a lot of thought was put in to make this a very attractive hotel. We could'nt say enough about the friendliness and effort that everyone showed us while we were there.

Acogedor /grato /limpio/ excelente atención
Casona tipo colonial, Lugar grato, limpio, cómodo, tranquilo, sencillo, pero muy bien atendido. Con lindas sala de estar. Dormí 10 horas de corrido, sin que nadie ni nada haya molestado.

Wonderful stay at Primera Hacienda Hotel
We had a lovely stay at Primera Hacienda Hotel - so much so we booked another night! The owner was super accommodating and helpful. The room was cute + comfortable and the hotel was very charming. Also, the owner's dog Poker was adorable!

Muy tranquilo y acogedor todo solo que me lleve la mala sorpresa que al comprar la estadía por hoteles.com te cobran en 1 cuota todo no te dan la opción de cuota por lo que al ser el ckec out me dijeron que ya se habían cargado todo en la tarjeta de crédito y no me dieron opción de cancelar el monto en cuota por lo que fue un desastre

Me gusto el diseño y uso del espacio. Muy bien decorado y organizado todo. No me gustó que el baño no tuviera ventana ni extractor.

Convenient location for the Bus Terminal. Charming courtyard. Fresh breakfasts. However the room was windowless, no tea making facility in the room (available to buy in the café) and lacking other attention to detail e.g. no towel hooks in the bathroom. A loud chiming doorbell can be heard throughout the property at all times of the day. There is parking but for one car only. Staff are helpful and informative. The school next door didn't disturb us. So generally a good convenient spot to the terminal and a taxi ride to the Airport, rooms with character but modest.
