"Every member of staff were friendly, helpful and engaged. The hotel was well designed, and we thoroughly enjoyed our week there. "Room was nice and clean with a good view and decent Aircon. Breakfast and dinner were fine. Fairly basic but very good for the price point. No drinks with dinner on a half board. My only issue was parking, it was peak summer and it took forever to find a space. I looked at maps before I booked and saw the two massive car parks nearby and thought there would be plenty of spaces but there wasn't. The fair was in town and took one of the car parks over. The next car park was about 15/20min walk away, only down side really. Location otherwise is fab."

"Lovely hotel that felt light and airy. Plenty of lounger availability and the pool area was always peaceful and relaxing. Could have been more options for food and drink around the pool to make it better. The buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent."

"The area of Blanes is stunning and offers lots of hats , restaurants & shops. The location of the hotel is a 15 walk from the main centre. It does have lots of shops around though. It's very much on the quiet area which was nice. The hotel room we had slept x 5 so plenty of room for the 4 of us. The pool area wasn't very appealing as it was on a road with no privacy. You can use the hotel across the road so bare that on mind. We experience some wind by the poolside and the parasols become loose and hit my husband on the head. After reporting it the staff didn't come and investigate. In fact many parasols went flying across the poolside. You don't see any S sff at all round the pool as they stay in the bar area. My boy asked for some ice from bar staff and was told he couldn't have any. We had bought drinks & food during our stay so was a bit disappointing that we couldn't have a couple of ice cubes !! A bit mean telling a child 'NO'. The rooms were cleaned daily in the morning and towels changed. This was fine until the last day when nobody has come and at 3pm we reported to reception that we didn't have any clean towels. We were assured that someone would be with us soon and that they were busy. By 8pm we were still left with no towels so tried to call reception. The phone rand out and when answered it hung up the other end. My husband had to go down to reception and he was give a couple of towels. No body came until 9.30 pm that day which is totally unacceptable! "

"My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. We stayed in a room with an ocean view and it was just wonderful. We used our balcony in the morning, late afternoon and every evening. It was perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful, however the lines were usually long to talk to someone at the front desk. The location was perfect. Very close to the train station and so many shops, restaurants and pubs. We would definitely come back to Santa Susanna and stay here again!"
