Perfect stop over hotel whilst driving to Spain with our dogs. Lovely grounds to walk the dogs. 2 minutes drive from the motorway. Lovely spacious modern bedrooms. Would definitely stay here again.

Overnight travelling stop.

Overnight stop on our way South. We needed a bed for the night not very fat from the motorway and this fitted the bill perfectly. There was no evening meal option but we self catered on the patio. The gentleman on reception desk was very friendly and exceedingly helpful.

Quiet and decorated in a modern, bougie style. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Parking is a bit unusual as it isn't paved nor marked and you just park in amongst the trees where you can. Price was very reasonable and there are many dining and grocery options in the near vicinity. Central Orleans is about 10-15 minutes drive.

I had a great stay. Nice and tidy hotel with ample of parking. The restaurant has a very limited offering. While the meals provided are only heated, they are tasty. The staff is very friendly.

Great location for somewhere just off the motorway. There was a range of continental breakfast options available in the morning. In the are, there are a couple of bakeries within walking distance which is a great alternative for breakfast too. Comfy beds, clean bathroom and friendly staff. I’d stay here again

Perfect one night stay on way south

Lovely one night stay on the way from Calais to the south of France. We were three adults in a triple room and there was plenty of room. The third bed was a proper single bed and perfect for our six foot son. Reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The hotel and the area is excellent for pet owners, which we truly appreciated. However, our room had a strong cigarette odor. The food variety was good, but vegetarian and fresh options were limited. One thing to note is that the meals are both cooked and served in glass terrines.

A beautiful property set so far back from the road you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, we had an accessible room from my partner in a wheelchair. The deck was beautiful slight wear and tear on the furniture, but that’s expected I suppose. Our welcome was wonderful and despite the language barrier and my rubbish attempt at French they was very accommodating. Although we didn’t eat on site, there are a lovely bunch of restaurants nearby and I’ll be honest the food in the hotel smelt amazing. We would definitely do a stop over here again.

I am coming back!

The staff is super helpful and friendly, and the room was a good size and very clean. The location of the hotel suited me really well, especially as there was a direct access to the cycle path along the Loire from the back garden. I would love to come back here when the weather is warmer so I can also enjoy the hotel outside space which is very pleasant. 10 out of 10 for the service and the staff!!!!

The location is unique. Our room very basic and more suitable for just one person: there is no closet or second chair or extra pillows or room for toilet articles etc last time we stayed here we were lucky to have a good room, for a similar price.

Amazing value for money compared to the local 'com

Amazing value for money compared to the local 'competition'! The hotel is set way back from the road in tree covered grounds on the ban of the Loire and is therefore quiet and you feel like you're in the country, rather than close to a busy road. The room was large, comfortable with a 'queen'-sized bed, and with good facilities including an excellent shower, all with a view over the River Loire. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Good restaurants nearby complete the picture. We highly recommend it and will stay there again on our next drive home from the UK through France.

Marmite Hotel - you'll either love it, or hate it.

This hotel will either drive you mad or make you laugh. We laughed. In a lovely setting away from the main road and with views (half the rooms at least) of the river. The lobby and dining areas were nice as was the patio for dining and or drinks with views into the garden and over the river. The carpets up to the rooms are drab and stained with the room carpet in ours a light colour also showing up numerous stains. It did have a mini bar fridge within the wardrobe unit but no mains socket to plug it in to. It also had a room safe which was locked tight. The aircon only blew out hot air and on a hot day was not what we wanted. The bed was fine, the bathroom and shower no issues. The coffee machine comes with 2 x free coffee pods, bring your own rather than pay €1 each for further ones. The wifi was good. We walked in to the city centre along the river, allow and hour each way. Buses and trams are also available nearby. German supermarket literally over the road. For us this hotel was fine.
