Okura Hotels & Resorts hotels in Kusatsu

The staff was really nice. We got free milk and it was only ¥100 for extra bottles if milk, which are a MUST when taking an onsen. We had a private onsen in our room, but there were also public onsen in the hotel! Everything was super clean and the hotel is located close to the bus-terminal.

Gorgeous area and hotel. Hotel was quiet and smelled amazing. Great onsen options and spa options. Lush town within easy walking distance. Gorgeous views from the room.

What an amazing place this is. As soon as you check in you're given a welcome matcha tea and sweet treats. The dining area has free flavoured water and hot drinks 247 and the breakfast was so tasty. They even catered for vegetarians. The room was gorgeous. Tatami mats covered the floor with a beautiful seating area with tea and a kettle for you to use in the room. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Sakurai. We booked the top floor suites, which came with several extra benefits. The room was very large and well laid out, with a kitchen, a bathroom with a jacuzzi and stunning view, two bedrooms, and a living area. We were taken straight to our room by a concierge when we checked in, which was a nice touch. The view was excellent — you could see the town centre from the room. Beautiful ryokan with amazing variety in food.

Fabulous, if I’m to comment on one thing it would be that check in was very slow. Otherwise it was stunning . Food was wonderful.

Really good choice of hotel

It my first time for this area. Kusatsu onsen. So good hotel, Staff helpful. Onsen in hotel nice already. Shuttle bus service so good. It so comfortable for this trip. I booked with dinner buffet. Food is so good taste more than I thought. Overall is perfect (recommend to stay)
