Excellent stay, unique and exotic

Our stay at the Monkey flower villas was nothing absolutely amazing - The location is something else, and I would say this is the most unique stay we've ever had. Placed at the edge of the jungle in the hillside of Koh Tao. Adding to that the hospitality of Steve and Mo added so much to our experience and the driver service offered by the resort is amazing. Would recommend to anyone!

Best views on the island

Great and villa with breathtaking views, amazing pool and comfortable beds 👍 kids loved jumping in the pool from the roof! Free transport was a wonderful bonus, we took advantage of it and went to grocery store and visited beaches.

Do not hesitate to book monkey flower villas. We stayed in orchid villa, it was a treat holiday for some big birthdays in our family and my goodness, it was AMAZING. The Villa is another level, beautiful Gaudi-esque architecture, an infinitely pool overlooking sairee beach, a floating bed that overlooks the best view on the island. It’s stunning. But above and beyond that, are the little touches, the kindness and the customer service you will receive. Steve and Muhammad are absolute legends and helped us with so much, a mobile phone to request transport around the Island - no problem, arranging boat trips - no problem, helping us arrange for our laundry to be washed - again, no problem. All this with the stunning backdrop of Koh Tao and all the good vibes that comes with it. Book it - You won’t regret it.

Super friendly Place to stay at

The Villas are buit on a Hill and our Villa had a beautiful Pool overlooking the Trees and Sea. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful! The Villa is super cute, you will find everything you need, even books and DVD's. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back to stay at Monkey Flower Villas again.

Relaxing place with a nice view

Highly recommend staying at Monkey Flower if you are looking for somewhere close to the beach and center of action but far enough away to be blissfully quiet at night. The on-site staff (Steve and Mo) are top notch and constantly on point for anything you need, from a ride into town, pickup or drop off from the ferry, arranging a private boat and snorkelling tour or even a laundry run.

monkey flower villas was awesome. the staff was above and beyond helpful with tips around the island. the rooms were clean, the pool was well kept and the view was gorgeous. definitely couldn't recommend staying here enough. worth every penny and cant way to go back.

Amazing service, went over and above what we could ever have expected. We loved this place! Our only issue as 6 adults was there was only one bathroom and toilet combined which had to be managed especially in the morning

Amazing place in Koh Tao

Monkey Flower Villa is the best option to be in Koh Tao. It has the nicest view ever and amazing hosts (Muhammad and Steve) that will do everything they can do help you have a great time in the island. Thank you guys! We stayed in the lower apartment and the place is awesome, very cool with the rocks being part of the buiding, clean and nice decorated and extremelly comfortable. It might seen far from the city but our hosts will be available to take you around when necessary. I would definatelly stay at Monkey Flower again. Congratulations guys on the great job.

WOW, WOW, WOW! Exceeded our expectations.

Wow, there's so much to say about these amazing villas. Everything was just wonderful - the location, the villas themselves, and the staff. The villas are so interesting and unique and impeccably maintained. The staff was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond numerous times. Do know that the villas are at the top of a very steep side road that cannot easily be walked, however their driver, Steve, provides nearly 24/7 driving service via a cell phone that the villas provide for your stay. He's incredibly kind and will take you basically anywhere on the island. We didn't use a taxi once.

Outstanding!!!

We just finished four amazing days at Monkey Flower Villas and can't recommend the place enough. It is truly amazing! Incredible place, spectacular view and the nicest and most service-minded hosts you could possibly imagine. Mo and Steve - whom are both incredibly nice - will drive you anywhere on the island 24/7 and pick you up again when you feel like chillin' for a bit in the luxurious villa. Unfortunately the weather was a bit on the moist side for a couple of days during our stay, but Steve even allowed us to us the incredible pool of the empty upstairs (and even more swanky) villa. So in short: If you ever find yourself on beautiful Koh Tao, Monkey Flower Villas comes with the absolute highest recommendations! Next time we're here we will revisit Monkey Flower for sure!

The service from Steve and Mohammed is unique! The villa is beautiful, but some items should be fixed (i.g. the bathroom slide doors). But those small “issues” are instantly forgiven when you experience the excellent service. Ask your hosts for tips since they know all the good places on the island!

Stunning views of Sairee beach from the swimming pool. Cavernous amounts of space inside the villa and Muhammad and Steve are always on hand to offer advice on where to go, where to eat and of course to pick up n drop 24 hours a day . You won't get this level of service in any other hotel in Tao. A truly memorable stay and highy recommended for those that can survive without a beach outside your room.

Nous avons séjourné dans la Bougainvillea ; 4 adultes et un bébé ! C’était parfait au niveau confort ; literie, propreté, serviettes, cuisine, climatisation, piscine privé avec transat ! Le grand plus de cet endroit qui est certes un peu excentré ; c’est le super chauffeur Steve qui est disponible à tout heure. serviable, gentil, attentif, ponctuel qui nous a fait découvre des endroits et restaurants supers ! Un grand merci à lui !! Nous recommandons fortement !

een leukere plek om te verblijven kun je niet wensen. de service en villa's zijn geweldig. vooral de 24hrs taxi service is erg prettig. je krijgt een locale telefoon en je wordt gebracht en opgehaald op het moment dat het jou uitkomt. de villa's zijn super leuk en qua ligging ongeëvenaard. hoog op een berg met geweldig uitzicht. goede restaurants, massages, snorkelstrandjes etc. je hoeft het maar te vragen en je wordt er naartoe gebracht. top echt een aanrader.

Super séjour on a adoré. Nous étions 2 adultes et 3 enfants. Les villas sont magnifiques.La vue est splendide Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans la bougainvilla villa et une nuit dans la gardenia villa Merci à steve et Mo nos super chauffeurs grâce a eux le séjour a tout simplement été parfait 👌

Una maravilla

Está situado en mitad de la jungla, todo es precioso, la atención de Steve y Mo es espectacular, siempre atentos a ayudarte a lo que haga falta y si necesitas algo ellos te ayudan a conseguirlo. Te llevan y te traen a cualquier sitio a cualquier hora de la isla. Espero poder volver a Koh Tao y desde luego que volvería al Mokey Flower

De los sitios más increíbles en los que he estado

Fue una experiencia realmente increíble. Cuando reservas te envían un e-mail con todos los detalles y con los teléfonos de contacto del manager (Mo) y del conductor (Steve). Cuando nos bajamos del barco ya estaban allí esperándonos. La villa está un poco alejada, y para llegar a ella tienes que subir en la pickup por una carreterita que parece una montaña rusa. Pero esto no es un problema porque Mo y Steve están disponibles las 24h. La casa es una auténtica pasada. Nosotros cogimos para 6 personas la villa "Gardenia", que en realidad es para 12. Tiene piscina con un columpio en medio, las habitaciones son grandes y todas tienen mosquitera. Si quieres pedir algo de comer, ellos te recomiendan unos cuantos sitios y te traen la comida hasta la villa. Mo también se encargó de comprarnos los tickets para el barco+autobús a Surat Thani y Steve nos trajo unos ticket para ver Muay Thai que le encargamos. Hubo un día que fallaron las redes de móviles, no había cobertura y Mo fue a buscarnos a la misma playa donde nos habían dejado por la mañana porque iba a hacerse de noche y se esperaba lluvia. Fue un detallazo.

Et av de beste oppholdene vi har hatt noensinne noensteds. Ligger oppe i høyden med en fantastisk innrammet utsikt. Man hører lite eller ingenting av utelivet i Sairee Beach, bare gresshopper og gekkoer. Vil man noensteds, om det er en strand, butikken eller en restaurant, har Monkey Flower et fantastisk personale som henter og kjører en der en vil til alle døgnets tider. De kom med gode tips og anbefalinger og man følte seg til enhver tid som en høyt verdsatt gjest. Villaene ligger inne i jungelen, så det er selvsagt dyrelivet som følger med det. Det er insekter, gekkoer og annet dyreliv. Noe av det kommer seg forbi det som tettes kan, så det må man bare akseptere. Alt i alt kan man ikke gjøre annet enn å anbefale stedet på det sterkeste!
