Huoneemme oli loistava mutta muut tilat olivat korjaamista vaille. Vastaanotossa työskentelevä henkilö ei ollut asiakaspalvelija. Hän ei mm. kertonut meille saapuessamme yhtään mitään, ei edes huoneemme sijaintia. Emme saaneet myöskään infoa aamupalan aikatauluista tai paikastakaan. Paikka oli helppo arvata kun hotellilla on vain yksi ravintola, mutta aikataulu olisi ollut hyvä tietää. Koetimme tietoa saada aamupalan henkilöiltä, mutta heillä oli hieman haasteita kielen kanssa joten emme vieläkään tiedä kuinka pitkään aamupala on tuolla tarjolla.

Obwohl das Baywater Resort erst zwei Jahre alt sein soll sieht es an manchen Stellen schon sehr alt aus. Immerhin wurde letzte Woche der Bereich am Pool repariert samt Unterkonstruktion. Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers war jedoch gut.

Lovely room in peaceful resort

Nice sized room with big bed and lovely balcony. We had a fridge and good tv which was great but the air con didn’t get very cool and WiFi was patchy in our room. Breakfast and pool were nice and we loved only walking 5 minutes to the beach. Although the resort was peaceful there was a lot of noise from the bars across the road until around 1am each night.

Sliten resort som sårt trenger oppussing

Vi bodde på Baywater i en uke. Lobbyen er veldig fin og folkene som jobber der er hyggelige og vennlige. Rommet er stort og rengjøres hver dag. Vi hadde imidlertid en del maur på rommet som aldri forsvant. I tillegg sviktet aircon og vi måtte bytte rom. Hele hotellet bærer preg av å være veldig slitt og trenger en skikkelig fornying. Masse løse planker ved bassengområdet og baren ved bassenget har vel knapt vært åpen. I løpet av vår uke så vi ingen som badet i bassenget. Vi hadde i tillegg et privat basseng, men det var fryktelig skittent og ble aldri rengjort. Beliggenheten er fin. Nærme stranden. Vi leide scooter og kjørte rundt på øya da vi synes Choenmong området var litt kjedelig. Frokosten er ikke noe å skryte av og vi spiste frokost andre steder et par dager mens vi var der.

Et hotell med store problemer.

Vi var der i 3 uker. Måtte bytte rom 2 ganger, burde byttet 3. Kloakk kom opp i dusjen.Kraftig algevekst i bassenget. Lekkasje fra taket i forbindelse med aircon. Vanskelig å kommunisere da. Ingen snakket forståelig engelsk. Elendig vedlikehold. Vi burde fått tilbake penger. Ellers er det fint i Thailand.

Utrolig dårligt vedligeholdt resort, måtte skifte værelse 3 gange på en uge. Ikke 4 stjerner værd. Meget skuffende oplevelse. Morgenmad blev ikke efter fyldt, skulle spørge efter mere hele tiden. Pool, efter en 1/2 time i poolen kløede det over hele kroppen.

Lack of English would be okay.. but if receptionists doesn't understand even one word I don't really see the point of that person being there by herself..... also hotel condirmed that they will do something special for us but nothing was done when we arrived.

The hotel is lovely, big spacious rooms, fresh breakfast and the location is great in between Chaweng and Fisherman’s village! However the hotel could be kept better, it is a bit tatty in areas, also staff not as helpful as I would have liked. The pool bar was never open either!

Au début nous avons eu une chambre avec des draps sales, nous avons été surclassé tout est bien ensuite chambre propre, menage tous les jours, piscine personnelle et public propre, bonne salle de muscu, bon petit déjeuner. Personnel tres accueillant et souriant.

Surt personale, hadde rom med eget basseng men bassenget var så møkkete at vi ikke kunne se bunnen av det og ikke bade i det. Stor skuffelse da vi betalte ekstra for dette. Dårlig frokost, tregt personale. Vi skulle bodd der i 13 dager flyttet ut etter 2 dager. Ingen spurte hvorfor vi flyttet, vi forklarte men ingen brydde seg.

First off, I had the cheapest room so didnt expect much, yet it was still worse, the bathroom was dirty and the whole room had a musty, wet smell. They had a pool and a beach but no towels so we had to use our shower towels, which is fine but the towels werent changed throughout our stay meaning that at the middle of day 2, they were permanently damp. The location is nice and there is plenty to do in the area, the resort grounds are also nice although everything feels a bit outdated. The cocktail bar makes pretty decent cocktails but the restaurant I would not recommend. If you get a room with aircon you could stay here, but steer clear of the fan rooms, not worth it.

Välj ett annat hotell!

Det är hotellet hade potential en gång i tiden men sen gick något snett. Personalen är under all kritik, det mesta börjar vittra sönder och det känns som man är på en öde ö på detta stora tomma hotellkomplex. Wi-Fi fungerar knappt. Frukosten är trött och fattig. Gymmet är okej men väldigt ofräscht. Det bästa var möjligheten att lämna hotellet för att gå till stranden som var väldigt nära. Om möjligt, välj annat hotell för här kommer ni bli besvikna.

El resort era muy grande, nuevo y bonito. Me hospedé tres noches en una habitación deluxe con acceso privado a la piscina. Hasta aquí todo perfecto, pero por problemas técnicos no hubo agua durante dos días en todas las instalaciones, por lo que no podías ni ducharte y no supieron gestionarlo de la mejor manera posible.

Hôtel à fuir en cours de changement de propriétair

Nous avons vu monter cet hôtel qui avait de très bonnes critiques mais apparemment il serait t ens passe de changer de propriétaire et pour le moment il ne faut surtout pasy aller aucun entretien de la piscine personnelle non nettoyée non filtrée donc verte l'éclairage de nuit jamais réparer au bout de 15 nuits drap taché ainsi que matelas souillé le petit-déjeuner quasi inexistant tout ça pour 2000 € les 15 jours en Thaïlande ça fait cher nous avions réservé cet hôtel pour nos enfants car nous sommes au Royal Miang qui n'est pas une grande grande qualité mais un service inégalée à côté de celui-ci l'hôtel n est pas entretenu les lames autour de la piscine se défont. grand décor de cinéma ce n'est qu'une façade les employés ne parle même pas anglais ce qui est très difficile pour se faire comprendre je ne pense pas que se soit de leur faute mais plutôt de la direction qui elle est inexistante en ce moment donc il y a beaucoup d'hôtels à ce prix-là sur Samui ne surtout pas tenter l'expérience avant une reprise par une autre direction qui aura fait le nécessaire...peut-être..

Goed hotel met wat minpuntjes

Baywater is een mooi hotel met prima faciliteiten (leuk zwembad, mooie kamers, ontbijt redelijk goed, goede ligging in een rustig dorpje vlakbij strand en straat met restaurantjes etc.). Er zijn echter best veel schoonheidsfoutjes. De wifi heeft regelmatig storingen en er zijn allerlei dingetjes stuk in de kamers en de centrale ruimtes. De sfeer onder het personeel is ook niet goed. De manager zit gewoon te ontbijten tussen de gasten en bij de receptie worden gasten niet altijd even vriendelijk bejegend. Het is een hotel met veel potentieel, maar de juiste energie mist. Toch hebben wij hier een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Ga je er ook heen? Veel plezier!

Ontbijt viel wel mee. Vuile lakens geen wifi, privé zwembad vuil. Mini bar leeg. Rond onze voordeur was een opening van 2 CM zo konden alle insecten binnen komen. Wij komen hier niet meer terug.😟

Staff is lazy and service is slow. Mixed up room booking and services, took us forever to check-in. I didn’t know a five star hotel would require guests to specifically request for change of towels in order to provide that. And when we asked about the excursions the hotel offered, the staff simply made us follow her to the tour agent across the street, left us there and let us dealt with the agent directly
