We stayed on Koh Phangan for 11 days, from 2-13 August 2023. The resort is located directly on the beach, offers close shopping facilities and is well maintained. The rooms were large and nicely furnished. The absolute highlight is the family that manages the hotel. Everyone is very nice and accommodating. Everyone is very helpful. After a few days you almost feel like part of the family. We can definitely recommend a stay and will definitely come back as soon as possible…

amazing stay

Wow this place is just as amazing as show in pictures- the rooms are spectacular and so affordable. Good restaurants around and perfect for post full moon party recovery. We came here to take a break from the party and it didnt disappoint. The staff is so helpful and we did laundry here. They helped us rent a motorbike too. The room was clean, the beds were so comfortable and the AC was excellent. They had a fridge, safe, robes and the pool was cleaned daily. Wifi worked great too!

A éviter tant que durera une telle gestion

La chambre ne correspondait pas à la réservation. Refus de la direction (Séjournant à Bangkok ) d'écouter nos arguments. Les "managers" livrés à eux-mêmes sont dépassés. Aucun taxi à l'arrivée alors qu'il avait été commandé la veille. Le ménage et le ravitaillement en eau et café soluble ne sont effectués qu'après des demandes répétées. Les draps et serviettes de toilette n'ont été changés qu'au bout de 6 jours après notre demande expresse. Travaux de changement de la terrasse effectués de manière erratique ou très tôt le matin (8h) ou pendant le repos de l'après-midi sans préavis. Il semble que cet hôtel soit en vente et soit juste exploité pour rapporter le maximum d'argent avec le minimum d'investissement. Plusieurs séjours en Thailande dont celui-ci de plusieurs semaines, c'est le premier hôtel qui a demandé à être réglé entièrement avant le séjour. Avis négatif, c'est dommage car le site et les vues sont splendides.

Leider ist das Luxury-Doppelzimmer, 1 Doppelbett zur Straßenseite und durch die Roller und vorbeigehenden Personen relativ laut. Zudem sind die Scheiben aus Milchglas, somit kann man nicht rausgucken. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers ist jedoch sehr schön und auch das Personal ist nett. Sofern man mit Frühstück bucht, bekommt man jeden Tag einen Voucher und darf im Restaurant um der Ecke frühstücken. Man kann sich von einer beistimmten Karte ein Gericht seiner Wahl aussuchen. Es ist auch für Vegetarier etwas dabei!

Chambre Deluxe sans fenetre...

Nous acons réservé une chambre double deluxe. Au check-in on a voulu nous installer dans une chambre sans fenetre au bord de la route... Nous avons refuse et demandé un remboursement. L'établissement a refusé pretextant que c'etaut la chambre prévue et nous a demandé de voir cela directement avec hotels.com. C',est ma 1ere expérience avec Hotels et je suis très très déçue surtout que l'hotel était annoncé avec une note de 8.4 *

La gente que lo lleva es explendida. Hubo algún tema que no nos gustó demasiado, pero al final del día lo más importante es la relación con las personas que llevan el hotel, e hicieron que nuestra estancia fuera muy agradable. En especial la madre de Olive. El hotel no es un hotelazo, más bien es un lugar cómodo con unas vistas espectaculares. No lo cambiaría por un resort.

Beautiful hotel- make sure you get beach access!

This hotel is extremely beautiful and in perfect location. We had a really nice time there and enjoyed the place. The only problem is that if you book here in Hotels.com you can’t guarantee the room with the beach access and it’s really disappointing to see one thing in the pictures and to get something else. Other than that we had a perfect time there.

Super séjour au Mandalai

Nous avons passé un excellent sejour au Mandalai, l'endroit est paradisiaque (nous avions pris une chambre vue sur mer ), le petit déjeuner compris dans notre formule, dans le restaurant d'en face est tres bien, il y a du choix et c'est copieux. Le quartier est aussi super Petit bemol sur l'état du mobilier extérieur, (léger manque d'entretien). Mais sinon séjour au top ! Personnel très sympathique

Ligging is super, kamers zijn mooi maar badkamer wordt duidelijk al heel lang alleen oppervlakkig schoon gehouden. Zonde van douche wand en wasbak waar dus aanslag op zit. Verder is het op het terras rommelig. Op de veranda's van de beachsuites staat afgedankt cq niet gebruikt meubilair. Sowieso zijn er bijna geen goede stoeltjes mee over. Zonde want de locatie is prachtig maar onderhoud laat dus te wensen over. Ze pretenderen een luxe locatie te zijn en dat is het ook zeker maar de afwerking laat te wensen over dus. Personeel is vriendelijk maar spreekt niet echt goed Engels wat communiceren moeilijk maakt. Toch heb ik 4 nachten bijgeboekt omdat het zo'n idyllische plek is :)

smuk udsigt, venligt personale, afslappet område

Vi var rigtig glade for at bo i stueetagen, beachfront suite som havde den smukkeste udsigt til havet. Personalet er meget hjælpsomme. Morgenmaden fik vi på den anden side af vejen ved en italienskejet cafe. De serverede fin standard morgenmad og kaffe, juice. Lokalområdet er hyggeligt, der er god afslappet stemning. Masser af små gode restauranter. Der lugter lidt af fisk i byen da det er en fiskerby. Og der bliver tørret fisk næsten lige ude foran hotellet på stranden.

Très bel hôtel à Chaloklum

Accueil chaleureux, personnel aux petits soins, la plage est magnifique et la piscine est un atout! Hôtel très calme idéal pour se ressourcer! Jai loué un scooter chez eux à 250b les 24h et très bon petit déjeuner au suncafé tenu par un couple italien juste en face de l hôtel, vos tickets petit dej sont placés sur le comptoir de la réception la veille au soir comme ça vous pouvez déjeuner tôt si vous avez des activités de prévues. Ils font également un service de blanchisserie à 50b le kilo de linge et peuvent vous réserver des excursions par téléphone via des agences dont les flyers sont disposés a la réception. Je recommande cet hôtel et particulièrement le restaurant juste à côté « Nong M Seafood » délicieux poisson et fruits de mer à très bon prix avec une terrasse donnant sur la plage

HÔTEL QUI N'HONORE PAS SES DÉCISIONS - À ÉVITER

Extrêmement déçue du service de cet hôtel. Nous avions réservez pour 1 semaine. Une fois arrivés en Thailande, nous avons voulu annuler 2 jours. Après demande à Hôtel.com, la réponse tardait à venir.... alors nous avons décidé de rejoindre l'hôtel... impossible de les rejoindre. Par la suite nous avons demandé d'annuler le séjour complet. Enfin la réponse à la première demande nous est parvenue; ils acceptent de nous rembourser 2 jours. Ensuite ils refusent d'annuler la semaine. Et, reviennent sur leur décision de rembourser les 2 jours. Au final nous avons perdu 6 jours à cet hôtel mais sommes bien contents de ne pas y être allés. Nous aurions gâché nos vacances. Extremely disappointed with the service of this hotel. We had booked for 1 week. When we arrived in Thailand, we wanted to cancel two days. After asking Hotel.com, the answer was late to come.... So we decided to join the hotel... impossible to reach them. Subsequently we asked to cancel the entire stay. Finally the answer to the first request arrived; they agree to pay us back for two days. Then they refuse to cancel the week. And, uh, reverse their decision to pay back the two days. In the end we lost 6 days at this hotel but are very happy not to have been there. We would have ruined our vacation.

Merveilleux hôtel sur la plage

Nous avions réserve 2 Beach villa mais à notre arrivée une seule était disponible et on nous proposait la villa à l'étage vue mer, selon la recommandation du patron d'après les employés : ce n'est pas la même chose puisque on est pas directement sur la plage en rez de chaussée! Le personnel est très serviable et à tout fait pour nous faire plaisir. La climatisation est tes bruyante dans une des chambres. La vue et la plage sont vraiment merveilleuses dans un coin calme et charmant.
