"Honestly, this place is amazing. The staff are wonderful. I have toured most of the island and pretty much every resort has been a bit run down and dirty, but Shantaa is clean. The staff are out every morning picking up any leaves that have fallen in the night and cleaning up any garbage that has washed up on the beach. From front desk, to restaurant staff, to the cleaning staff, everyone has been amazing. Do not hesitate to stay here. The food is amazing too. If there were a larger beach this place would be $1000 a night easily (rent a scooter and go to any beach you want). 5 stars, 10 out of 10, two thumbs up etc. etc…I will definitely be coming back. I cannot recommend this place enough. Oh, they’re very nice to animals too."

"We had such wonderful experiences and rainforest environments the monkeys and birds were such a surprise and a super attendant lady name Jessica who helped us with a tour and was extra. The icing on the cake was the beautiful set up for our anniversary. We had a wonderful time!!🤗"

"This was my first time staying at Siam Beach Resort, and the journey there became part of the experience. After a short flight from Bangkok to Trat, I arrived at one of the most charming and quaint small airports I have seen in Thailand. Trat Airport has a relaxed, welcoming feel that immediately sets the tone for island travel. From the airport, I took private transportation for the roughly 45-minute drive to the ferry landing. The road journey was sensational — smooth, well maintained, and passing through what felt like one of Thailand’s beautiful garden baskets, with lovely farms, Thai produce, lush trees, scattered residences, and a landscape that seemed set back in time. By the time I reached the ferry, I could already feel life slowing down. Siam Beach Resort continued that feeling. The resort has a simple, easygoing charm that fits Koh Kood perfectly. It is not overly polished or pretentious, but that is part of its appeal. The setting is peaceful, with direct beach access, calm water, and tropical surroundings that invite you to relax. My room was clean and comfortable, with fresh linens and the basic amenities needed for a pleasant stay. The property has a casual, welcoming feel, and the staff were kind and helpful. For travelers looking for a quiet beachfront location, good value, and an authentic island-style experience, Siam Beach Resort is a place I would gladly recommend — and happily return to."

Mercure Koh Chang Hideaway

"Absolutely beautiful. Admittedly, I was very surprised to see that the toilet and shower in the villa was actually outside, but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The private beach is heavenly, the beach side bar and food was excellent. You're a bit far to the south, but that only puts you closer to the southern pier, and nothing is very far away in the first place - not a very big island to start with. All in all, couldn't be happier with this place."

"Very clean room and the staff was great. Our 3rd stay at Siam Beach. Great quite beach. Easy to rent scooter and travel island. We will be back. Note: pool room is cool, but the water is cold. Also, must ask the staff to turn on an turn off pool."

"We had an amazing experience and extended our stay by an extra week. Room was beautiful,light and spacious with an extremely comfortable bed,a great shower and bath. The air conditioning worked very well and was spotless,as was the room throughout. Breakfast was exceptional,great variety,clean,fresh. Pool was again very clean and hygienic,cleaned daily and a great size. Bars served great cocktails both non alcoholic/alcoholic and happy hour 12-9pm was great value. The team were exceptional throughout all area’s with many with 10 years or more experience at the hotel. Special thanks to the amazing Sutthinan (cake),who was so friendly,efficient and supportive. Apple,housekeeper for our room standard daily,Pao and Heng who provided exceptional friendly service at the beach bar and a big thank you to Cabbage on the egg station at breakfast for making amazing egg Benedict’s. The whole team are very friendly and helpful."
