Perfect Stay in a Cozy Villa

We had a lovely one-night stay at Vila with my mother and grandmother. The villa was spacious, with a charming patio, free parking, and a great location close to everything. The breakfast was excellent, and the service was truly outstanding

This was a very special stay for us and a lovely floating hotel - such a wonderful and unique experience to be on the water in a luxurious space. I would have liked to have had access to the spa (closed very early) and/or information about the hours when I checked in - then I would have made sure not to have missed out - this was the only disappointment. Highly recommend!

All the way out in the end of Tjörn lies Klädesholmen, an old fishing and cannery village. Petite white wooden houses cluster the rocks. Just after crossing the bridge you will find this modern hotel perched on docks. Great water views, comfortable beds. Free parking. The restaurant serves top notch local specialties like a pickled herring sampler which is perfect to share. Breakfast of fresh breads, cheeses, meats and fruits. Staff is top notch.

We spent a night there as it was mentioned in the guide we had. The place is lovely and we had a walk around the village. They can provide bikes to ride around at a price. When we visited (1 Sept) only one restaurant was open so it was lucky that we had booked in advance as there are no other places to eat close by. The restaurant menu is not every extensive but the basil ice cream was very nice. The b'fast is good and the view is great. The only downside, which is nothing to do with the hotel, was that despite the fact that it was very quiet when we visited, we had some people staying above us and could hear them very well so I wonder how noisy it becomes in summer time.

Vi var skuffede.. “Flydende hotel”… nej! Meget fint værelse, men du kan tydeligt høre hvad der foregår i naboværelset! På et dyrt “luksus” hotel.. det er ikke i orden! Mad: Konen fik fisk, jeg fik kalvefillet til aftensmad. Begge dele absolut ok, MEN tilbehøret passede smagsmæssigt slet ikke til! Morgenmaden var rigtig fin. Samlet oplevelse: Både værelse og mad alt for dyrt til oplevelsen. Max. 3 stjerner.

Läget är fantastiskt, väldigt lyxigt att kunna öppna dörren och ta ett morgondopp. Även frukosten håller en hög standard. Åt på restaurangen på kvällen och med tanke på priset så kunde kvaliteten och smakerna varit bättre, men helt okej

Skønt sted i skærgården

Vi nød det fine værelse med havudsigt og direkte adgang til et par friske havdyp i det 7 grader varme vand😆 Smuk beliggenhed i Skærgården. Vi besøgte Salt & Sill 13-15 april 2025 og da var der ikke meget ‘liv’ på øen. Er sikker på det er endnu skønnere om sommeren. Hotellet er skønt og servicen i top.
