"I recently stayed at the Shirley Retreat Hotel in Jamaica and had a truly wonderful experience. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy, which made the entire stay feel smooth from start to finish. My room was spotless, the bathroom was very clean, the sheets were crisp and fresh, and the King bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff added even more to the stay. The security guard at night, Patrick, and another gentleman who worked during the day were always present on the property and...

"It was more so a lay over stop until a suitable time to drive to St. Ann. Place is clean, good service, and the staff is friendly. There is bar/restaurant upstairs, and enjoyed their breakfast. The hotel is located on a main and not far from landmarks."

"The room was clean. They hotel staff really gentle. They offer a breakfast consisting omelette and coffee which was ok. In general nothing special to report. Just bringt your own shampoo with you."

"The property was double booked the first two days leaving us without a place to stay. The property manager said he booked another place when we got there that was also not available. We spent several hours late in the evening until we were finally able to get a temporary booking. Communication was extremely poor overall it was hard initially to get a hold of the property owner although we had paid in advance our accommodations was not available first two days. "

"Best value for money in Kingston. Safe, clean apartment with everything you need for self-catering and great air-conditioning and wi-fi. So close to the US Embassy, our trip went smoothly. Only issue is that check-in is very late and check-out is very early."

The agent that I spoke with was very apologetic and very professional and courteous. Overall my stay was excellent.
