Peaceful and clean, helpful and professional staff, beautiful scenery, excellent food. I grew up in that town and love that they employ some locals. I was treated like royalty even by the staff who didn’t know me. I was feeling nostalgic and proud, The hotel is a hidden gem and less than 10 minutes away from the airport and walking distance from the historic Fort Charles, Giddy House, Old Naval Hospital and lots more.

The breakfast was excellent. The view at the dining area was amazing. The grounds were well maintained. The hotel is under construction, and the accommodations are not quite up to par. The rooms are not complete and are poorly decorated. My overall experience was not the best.

We travelled as two couples & were lucky enough to stay in the King Rooms, following an upgrade! Which we greatly appreciated. Our third time here and we never regret booking. The staff are amazing the rooms were spotless (albeit a few mosquitoes arrived, but were soon dealt with once reported). They are renovating parts of the property, but no noise or inconvenience. The management, with Katherine, executive Sous Chef, Yvonne (and others whose names we cannot remember), went out of their way to ensure our three nights stay was memorable. We enjoyed every moment and will surely return again. It’s within walking distance to a lovely beach, Gloria’s restaurants, Giddy house, with all of its history, was very informative. Also a wonderful cruise around the harbour, a definite must do! Do not hesitate to book this hotel. Highly recommended.

Really nice renovations going on. Close to the airport. Really good for in the hotel restaurant Red Stripe. Plenty of outdoor seating by the water. Great place to catch a sunset!
