"Room and hotel look tired but fantastic location."

"First, there is no hot spring within the suite even it has a tub. The tap hot water needs 15+ min warm up time and the water temperature is very difficult to adjust. The entire ryokan is old and outdated. The meals were average at best. The famous nearby hot sand bath experience was over rated. The service is good overall. "

"The hotel was grand and awesome. Nice and helpful staff. Onsen is also available. I do wonder if it will be better if it is summers as there is a beach that is easily accessible from the hotel."
