The reception was very pleasant. The private garden and access to the sea are very pleasant. The proximity to the center is very convenient. The large, shady parking lot is a big plus. The geographical location allows short excursions to so many destinations

Fantastic

We were a happily surprised by our stay as the property is much better in person than in the photos. The owner, Stavros, is an incredible host and takes great pride in providing the best experience possible in every way. The common space is a huge, shaded patio with gorgeous plants and comfortable seating overlooking the charming port town. Location is fantastic and a short walk to many restaurants, etc. The bed was super comfortable (unlike so many we’ve experienced in Greece). We loved the island and would definitely return to Ballas!

Fantastic Accommodation

Fantastic accommodation with great views over the bay and Ithaca. Made exceptional by the host. Stavros goes out of his way to make your stay special. No surprise to find that people return year after year

Lovely place to stay

Such a lovely stay, Stavros is an amazing host, so friendly and helpful, he even let us borrow a beach umbrella! Gave us lots of advice regarding beaches and attractions and he was always welcoming and kind. The rooms are clean and well furnished. We slept comfortably. The location is excellent, Agia Efymia is a little village, very relaxing, ideal if you have a car so you can explore the island.

Communication with the property is easy and good. The owner is always available and kind. We got a free bottle of water, coffee, tea and wines. We can borrow umbrellas for a day out. The location is beautiful and nice, in the middle of the island and with good beaches around. The bathroom and furniture (not renovated yet) need attention.

Ballas is beautiful - a lovely stay

I loved staying at Ballas Apartments. The property itself is run by Stavros whos a pretty cool dude. The property overlooks the sea and has an amazing outdoor space you can just chill on a variety of lounges etc and just look at the amazing view. There is also access to the water for a quick dip. The room was spacious and included a small kitchen which was very handy. the bathroom was newly renovated and adequate. Stavros was also so kind in having my earbuds i had left there sent to me in Lassi via a friend of his who is a taxi driver. Free. So that was amazing. Please visit these smaller places rather than the larger conglomerates.. Agia Efimia is so beautiful too. Im glad I decided to stay here instead of Sami.

Wir hatten die Erdgeschosswohnung und damit eine tolle Terrasse zum Frühstücken. Der Ausblick auf die Hafenbucht ist super. Genug Parkplätze standen zur Verfügung. Das Appartement muss dringend renoviert werden. Alles alt und verloddert. Das Bad hat nicht mal einen Punkt verdient. Matratzen sind alt und durchgelegen. Handtücher und das Appartement rochen nach Rauch. Der Garten und die Terrasse werden nicht gepflegt. Müll lag 4 Tage herum und wurde nicht entfernt.

Stayed briefly prior to a sailing holiday . Welcoming host who took time and trouble to make sure all was ok. Clean apartment with adequate facilities, including fridge, cooker and hairdryer. Stunning location and views directly to the sea. Relaxing gardens with lots of different areas to sit amongst lovely flowers and trees. Definitely recommend!!

Die Unterkunft ist direkt in der Stadt und direkt am Meer. Die Aussicht aus dem Zimmer oder Terrasse ist herrlich. Die Ausstattung ist einfach, aber sehr sauber und es gab eine Seife im Bad, Duschgel und Shampoo. Haartrockner gab es auch. Der Besitzer ist extrem nett und hilfsbereit.

Im Prinzip ist alles da das man braucht. Die Küchenzeilen sind klein und es fehlt etwas Arbeitsfläche, aber man kommt damit klar. Zumal man im Vorfeld weiß, was einen erwartet. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und die Zimmer mit Meerblick haben eine großartige Aussicht. Es gibt eine schöne Terasse auf der man Abends gemütlich sitzen kann bei einem Glas Wein. Wir haben da auch gefrühstückt und zu Abend gegessen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Danke dafür!

Abbiamo soggiornato ai Ballas Apartment la terza settimana di Settembre. Tutto è stato perfetto anche grazie alla cortesia e all'ospitalità di Stavros che al nostro arrivo ci ha fatto trovare dei dolci e del vino in camera. La stanza è pulitissima e dispone di tutto l'essenziale per la colazione. Ma quello che colpisce maggiormente è la splendida posizione a pochi metri dal mare con una vista meravigliosa sul golfo di Agia Efimia. Consiglio di prenotare le stanze che dispongono del balcone esterno con vista giardino sempre ben curato. Al centro dell'isola i Ballas Apartment ad Agia Efimia vi consentiranno di raggiungere le più belle spiagge dell'isola in pochi minuti di auto ( Mirtos e Antisamos). Grazie ancora a Stavros per averci fatto scoprire un pezzo meraviglioso di Grecia....

Schöne Zimmer mit wundervoller Aussicht

Unser Zimmer war ideal für zwei Personen, mit allem was man zur Selbstverpflegung benötigt. Die Aussicht in unserem Meerblickapartment war unglaublich schön und auch der Service war super. Es gibt nichts, worüber wir uns beschweren könnten und legen jedem, der nach Kefalonia reisen möchte, die Ballas Appartements ans Herz. Von Agia Efimia erreicht man alles auf der Insel in höchstens einer Stunde und auch das kleine Städtchen selbst ist sehr süß. Man hat alles was man braucht, es ist sehr ruhig und man kann sehr gut am Hafen essen gehen. Einfach nur empfehlenswert!

This property is very nice and well located. Our studio was clean and comfortable. The owner was super nice and friendly, always willing to help. The view from the patio is absolutely amazing, it looks like a postcard. I would recomment this accommodation to anyone visiting Kefalonia.

Perfect location in a lovely town.

We had the ground floor apartment at the front of the property. It was a great room with the use of the patio area overlooking the harbour, magical !

Great view from the balcony overlooking the harbour, the location is great being within 10 minutes drive of Sami, Myrtos and only a little further to Assos. Stavros was also friendly and helpful. 10/10 will definitely be staying again

This was our first holiday to kefalonia, amazing island. But also amazing stay at Ballas apartment. Had a fantastic view over looking the lovely harbour of Agia efmia Stavros the owner was the best, friendly always there to help if needed. Will definitely return 10 out 10 stavros.

The apartments was exactly how we imagined, i.e. wonderful view, clean, well equipped etc. My only comment is that Stavros went a bit over the top in my opinion in repeatedly asking us "is everything ok, is everything perfect?". Possibly he genuinely was concerned that we were enjoying ourselves, but it felt to us that he was just worried in case he didn't get a perfect rating/review, and we felt uncomfortable. Sorry if we came to the wrong conclusion, but this is how we felt. Also, it's not a good idea to explain a simple concept to my partner four times, and each time ask him if he understands (even if "do you understand?" was just a turn of phrase). However, Stavros was much more friendly and natural on check-out, so possibly I misjudged him. I only mention all this so he can see things from the customer's perspective. We very much appreciated everything else, such as the cleanliness of the apartment, the free wine/cake etc, and the printing off of our boarding passes. If I leave any other reviews they will of course be glowing.
