The exterior looked dated and the neighborhood is a little shabby but we loved our room. Very large, lots of light, great bathroom. The lobby and breakfast areas were old world charming and the breakfast was affordable and plentiful.

Stayed for 3 nights to attend the Christmas markets and see a few museums. Was easy to walk to these. Room was quite large for European standards. Breakfast was varied and quite filling. Will stay again when the need arises.

Do NOT stay here.

This hotel is located in a sketchy area, with an "adult entertainment club" across the street. I was very closely approached by one man for money and another man followed me into the hotel after obnoxiously whistling behind me. My towel was placed back on the rack after I had used it. This was really gross. Perhaps the most unprofessional thing was when the staff did NOT honour my request for a wake-up call TWICE. One day they phoned over 40 minutes later and on the day of my departure I could have missed my train since they NEVER CALLED. The woman with the blond hair never apologised about these errors and needs to work on her customer service skills. The young man with Syrian heritage was kind and professional. He is the only reason why I am not giving this hotel the lowest rating.

Wunderbares Hotel mit viel Charme, sehr freundlichem Personal und einem großzügigen Einzelzimmer. Ich habe sehr gut geschlafen! Dass Mobiliar und Bad in die Jahre gekommen sind, finde ich eher schön. In der coolen Lobby mit Billard-Bibliothek kann man abends gut sitzen und noch einen Drink genießen. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und vielfältig zu jeder Uhrzeit – besser als in manch einem Mehr-Sterne-Hotel! Ich war beruflich in Kassel und habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt während der drei Tage.

Die Unterkunft war ganz ok. Ein normales Frühstück. Das Zimmer war uralt. Im Hof nebenan ist ein Biergarten von dem aus bis 2 Uhr nachts lautere Gespräche her kamen. Im Bahnhofsviertel treiben sich leider nachts komische Gestalten herum. Das war schon unangenehm. Trotzdem war der Aufenthalt ok. Das Personal war super freundlich.

Hotellbygningen er nær 100 år gammel, og ærverdig. Rommet var stort (stue og soverom), og oppusset til god standard. Veldig fin parkering på hotellets område. Det som dro ned helhetsinntrykket var støyen fra en "Biergarten", hvor det var støy til langt på natt. Hotellet kan anbefales.

Die Einrichtung in der Lobby und Restaurant ist zwar nett aber auf dem Zimmern sehr altmodisch. Der Teppich war voller Flecken, das Bad so dunkel das man kaum gesehen hat. Aber an sich ist es sauber, die Möbel sind auch nicht kaputt nur sehr alt.. oh das Fenster konnte man kaum schließen. Statt Klimaanlage gab es einen Ventilator was ich gut fand, als Ersatz. Aber für Geräuschempfindliche Menschen wohl eher nichts, Die Unterkunft ist gut erreichbar und man ist schnell im Zentrum, die Umgebung fand ich nicht so toll, aber im Hotel hat man sich sicher gefühlt. Beim Frühstück gibt es an sich alles was man braucht. Also vollkommen ausreichend aber nichts besonderes. Das Personal war an sich immer nett. Also für einen kurzen günstigen Aufenthalt ist es okay, aber nochmal werde ich nicht einchecken.
