Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
I had to stay here because the races were in town and there were no other hotels. The room was clean but dated and there was a huge gap under the door about an inch and a half. There were also ants all over the sink and floor probably from the gap under the door. I woke up to ants crawling on me in bed and I put towels under the door for the draft. The staff was very polite but I think a lot of the guests were a little unsavory. The ants really made the stay unpleasant.
Needed a quick place to stay that had breakfast, and decided on this location. Price was reasonable, room clean and check in was easy. Plenty of parking.
For the price i shouldn't have expected much, the room smelt of old cigarette smoke. The ceiling in the bathroom by the toilet/shower was literally black in places cracked and looked like it could fall in at any moment. Be prepared to hear other guest at every hour of the night as if they are in the room with you.
Staff was friendly we didnt know there was a 50.00 per person cash only deposit needed when we checked in and thankful the front desk guy waved it. So we didnt have to pay the ATM withdrawal fee.
Overall for the price you shouldnt expect much more then what you are getting.
Thankfully the bed was decent and the sheets were clean.
The check in process was great and the staff was very polite and friendly. Once I received my room key I drove to the back and was actually scared to take my 2 kiddos to the room. Extremely sketchy and lots of questionable people out on the balcony. Blinking property lights. We just left and didn’t care about a refund.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Suggestions for improvement
I was in town for a family event and so I stayed only needed to stay one night. I was in Room 116
Positives:
bed sheets were clean, mattress was comfortable, bathroom sink, and toilet was clean. Had amenities (hair dryer, refrigerator but since I did not use these, I don't know if there were any problems. TV worked. No mold on shower curtain. Old chain locks but they worked. Heater AC worked.
Negatives
Breakfast poor
Walls: thin. I heard the next-door neighbor coughing so well that it sounded like he or she was in my room.
Pillowcases: One of the 3 pillowcases had yellow stains on it, but it smelled clean.
Bathtub: was not inviting. It had a wide bathtub ring of old dirt on it, so I never used it.
Shower curtain; old, torn, unclean.
Smells: noticeable odd smell in the bathroom, not sure what it was. The whole room smelled like old cigarette butts. This was a non-smoking room. I am sensitive to smoke and did get nasal congestion and eye irritation from the smell.
Bugs: 2 tiny bugs (I killed) In the bathroom, on the floor by the edge of the tub. No further bugs seen.
Curtains: old and torn a bit did not want to close completely. That left me feeling unsecure.
Suggest
Use a soap scum cleaner for the tub or Replace tub and shower curtain. Replace inside drape. Replace chain lock with more secure bolt lock. Hire a company that deals with smoke from house fires. They have the ability to get rid of smoke and make the rooms smell like there was never a smoke problem.
Room was filthy. Walls were patched up and chairs were disgusting. There was hair everywhere. No bath towels. No toilet paper. The guy at check in was not nice and they charged someone else’s CC when we checked out. It was one of the worst places I’ve been. It said on Expedia that pets were free. When I got there it was $150 charge and get $100 back at checkout. Then when I went to check out the guy tried to charge me more.
Parking was limited. Room needs repaired. You can tell there was water damage all over the room and bathroom. Towels were lightly yellowed color. Also remnants of someone else’s poop was still in the toilet.
Check in person was unaware we had a pet and was put off by this. We were charged a $50 deposit despite having ESA paperwork. We were told there was only a "pet" room on the second floor. The stairs were difficult to manage, even for the dog.
Inside the room, the a/c unit was turned off. When I moved the curtain to get the air circulating, the front panel of the unit fell on the floor. It was difficult to maneuver in this area, as the second queen size bed was jammed up next to the a/c unit. Both beds were creaky and hard. The floor and bathroom door were in disrepair. This concerns me as I expect to get my deposit back because my dog was well mannered and did none of the damage. The front desk clerk informed my husband that previous tenants left the room in a damaged state.
The tv remote only worked for certain buttons such as only going up the channels and sound. The refrigerator did not keep our items cold until my husband, a mechanic, knew how to move the refrigerator out of defrost mode in the rear of the unit.
The peep hole cover at the front door was covered up. We could not monitor outside our room other than the front window.
We were provided no bath towels in the bathroom. It felt like the room was not ready for guests.
