"Lovely property, secluded but good shuttle options to ski field (less than 5 mins) and twice daily to Karuizawa.
Staff were friendly - used Google translate as there were not many western travellers.
Amazing Onsens - all gender seperate apart from private but open 24 hours.
Food was great - and a shop for snacks, souvenirs and drinks.
Great for winding down and experiencing the snow and small field close by."

"Staff was very kind, even with the language barrier, were more than helpful. Rooms were well equipped with extra blankets and mattresses. The hotel bus drove us to the Monkey park and to the train station upon checkout. Onsen was very hot and clean. Would love to come back! "

"Everyone on staff made us feel welcome from the start. Aziz and both ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful and lovely people. We will always remember them abs their friendliness and how nice our stay was. Will stay here again. The onsen is fabulous!"
