"We had a wonderful week at Elizabeth Suites, Epas is a welcoming and helpful host who can never do enough to make sure your stay is a good one. The suite was spotlessly clean, the pool warm and plenty big enough to cool off in. The suites are located within easy walk of the beach, bus stops in the main town Chania and several local and big chain supermarkets. All in all the perfect place to enjoy local beaches and restaurants or choose to go into the lovely town. Just a perfect week in Crete! "

"This is an absolutely fantastic hotel which is owned and run by a really lovely family. Everything is spotless from the public areas to our room. It is about a forty minute walk to the centre of Chania which was fine for us as we enjoy walking but there is a service bus a couple of minutes away. "

"We stayed at Portou House for 5 nights and had an excellent time. Very good location in Chania Old Town. Communication was great from start to finish with Julia being very responsive. We were pleasantly surprised with a bottle of wine for my Partner’s birthday which was a nice touch. The only feedback we would have is that there was no full length mirror - think it would be good to consider including in the rooms. Many thanks Julia and team at Portou House. "

"Le séjour avait mal commencé avec la salle de bain de la chambre pas très propre, pas de gel douche. Sinon le reste du séjour c'est bien passé. Les restaurants et bars sont très bien. "Nice, clean hotel to spend a couple of days in Chania. You could easily walk to the harbour from here by going through streets with various vendors. The restaurant in the hotel was good and decently priced, although majority of the dishes use frozen ingredients. Otherwise there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, even several pharmacies.
