Wonderful little place to stay with very friendly and helpful staff. Our room for 3 had the loveliest view from the patio and everything was sparkling clean. It was easy to park and just a bit down the road from town in the car. We definitely stay here again!

Very happy with all aspects of our stay. Very friendly staff and easy to talk to. Good location for walks to town or the peninsula to see the seals. Thoroughly clean unit with a large bathroom including very useful mirrors.

We had a very comfortable stay with the most fabulous view of the snowy alps above Kaikoura. Very handy to The Pier Hotel for dinner and close to the Penisula Seal Colony which was a lovely walk. Barbara was very helpful and we will stay again.

Seaside comfort.

Excellent motel room that was a large room with good amenities. The room, however, did not have the view that was shown and has buildings opposite it blocking the view. Very handy to the seals and good pub.

Big spacious room and very big spacious luxury bathroom, but with very. Skimpy on any extras: little extras like soap or shampoo or dishwasher liquid available. Hardly any drops available in the dispenser and toilet paper on last bits.

Barbara, the owner of the property is the personification of hospitality. She was kind enough to allow us to drop off our bags earlier. She even gave us a lift to the supermarket! So kind! She even offered to drop us off at the bus stop but we wanted to walk. We can’t think of anything that the hotel didn’t have that was not provided to us. Would definitely stay here again.
