Upon 7:15 pm arrival, my room had been given to another party. I was asked if I could cancel my reservation. At 8:20, they managed to have a room ready for me. There wasn’t soap products in bathroom, and upon request, they said they didn’t have any available!

We shows after a 9hr drive. Not a soul was in the lobby, only a buzzer and a note with a phone number in case the buzzer didn't work. 20mins of buzzing and calling and nothing. It was 11:30 at night and we passed up dozens of hotels an hour before that. Worst experience ever. Do not reserve a room here

Thia place is a scam dont not book it. Its currently closed for renovation. They will take your money and you will never get it back. Luckily we chose the pay at property option. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE

Dear Expedia, I didn't like that you allowed me to book a reservation at a place that has been closed for a year. I didn't like that I had to hustle to find a place to stay that evening after being on the road all day. I cannot rate my stay at Loves Motel as they have been closed ~1yr.

Horrible flies infestation

This hotel it’s horrible. It has an infestation of flies. We kill like 30 and they still coming more. It’s located closer to a pig farm. The little town has flies everywhere. Not the best town to stay. The rooms are smelling and very old falling apart.

Check in was ok. Breakfast was a joke! Biscuits and gravy was there with gravy in a crockpot with nothing to eat it on no plates or anything and no forks. A few pastries and granola bars. S little orange juice and water. When we call for staff nobody answered the phone or service bell and nobody was there for check out.

They canceled my reservation last minute. After I drove for twelve hours. The last hour before I reached the hotel, I got a call they said they are overbooked and they will cancel my reservation. They mentioned they called several times and left a message which they did not . Do not even consider booking in this hotel. They might cancel your reservation just like what happened to me.

Tried to stay positive - but I can’t

Not a friendly place even for 1 night with kids. Front desk was out when we arrived - told us to use back door to find our way to room - while came & wake me up at 11pm demanding payment. Promised breakfast be ready at 6 - didn’t happened, we had to use own bagels for kids.

No internet, no customer service, old dirty beds, bugs. I understand that there's apparently from what they said one person trying to take care of all of this themselves but I think it really shouldn't be open until they can accommodate things properly.

Was ok for a one night stay

It looks like they recently changed hands and you can tell they have been trying to clean things up. The carpet and paint seemed fairly new. There were a bunch of dead bugs in the bathroom. We couldn't get the TV to work and I don't think the heater was working, but we didn't really need it yet. You can hear other people talking and kids running around. The base of the sink seems to be unfinished plywood, which is not very sanitary because you can't really clean it. The beds were comfortable and the bedding smelled clean. I liked that they had a table and chairs, fridge and microwave.

What I can I say? You get what you pay for. If you're just looking for a cheap place to sleep and take a shower among a tourist area of overly priced hotels, then this is a good option. It's close to the Badlands right off the highway and near gas stations. I'm not sure the real name of this place, because when we showed up, it had a different name on a banner and at the front desk. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and not too soft. Shower water pressure was great and water was hot. They have a mini fridge in the room. Free breakfast includes bagels and cream cheese, and breakfast snack bars. The owner was friendly and I could tell he's trying his best to make the place better. And now the bad....the sheets were dirty. There were orange and red stains and pee stains on one of our bed sheets. It was absolutely gross so we only slept on one of the beds. The sink was leaking from the bottom. And lastly, there were so many flies!!!! We killed almost 15 of them when we first arrived and there were still some flying around while we slept.

The carpet on walk way was ripped dirty what carpet there was. There was cleaning products in what was supposed to be breakfast area. That area was clearly one that hadn't been used for a very long time The person working was very nice. He walked me to my room, he unlocked lobby doir with his keys. He made sure the keys worked for my room. My room had no working tv apparently someone took the roku. Room appeared fairly clean. No soap for washing hands. Not sure what the shampoo bottle was since it had something hand written on it. Towels were clean andd fairly heavyweight. Mayress was hard. Sheets appeared clean. There was a kerig machine with on coffee pod but no cup. The pool area was closed.pool was covered cerment around was cracked and chipped. Overall the entire place looked abandoned. I was booked for two nights. I stayed one but just couldn't stay the second. I need a refund on second night. It appeared the place was inprocess of being remodeled which is fabulous but don't have guests during this process.

The place is very sketch as previous guest indicated in the review. I decided to take a change and hope the bad review was biased. I was really disappointed and never saw such run down hotels before even for must less expensive hotels. The building is in very bad shape overall and trash everywhere, park lot is not paved and over grown with grass. Inside the building is dark and feels like it is not maintained for a long while. We were welcomed to our room by over 30 flies. The bed is not level and with no headboard. pillow are in a corner of the room and on the floor. The pillows are so flat and feels like they were tramped by an elephant. Room has no night stands, no wardrobe, no foot boards, no iron boards, not hir dryer. The coffee table is wobbling like hell and you do not want leave anything on there. Tv was mounted on the wall but not secured and you can not even push the power on button without holding the TV. The cable box and bunch of wires just hang on there behind the TV. Never seen bath room furniture using unlaminated particle board. Towels are small. The hot/cold water can not adjusted at all. Either you have hot water or cold water, the water temperature alternates between hot and cold. To be fair, air condition works well. The size of the room is good. The photos looks better than the actual facility, so don't be fooled by the photos.
