"I did not like that there was no air conditioning, no safe, toilet had no sink, people at reception did not speak English very well, and in the restaurant no one understood English, the meal we had was prime rib , which I asked for it to be well done, came with blood running out of it, sent it back to cook more, it came back the same, three waiters there did not know what a vodka and tonic was! I thought given that we were in Juno beach , which is for Canadians that there would be more English,...

"Our quick visit to Hôtel de la Plage was wonderful. Despite a much later first night arrival, the staff kept in constant communication with us for check-in and had keys and information waiting. The restaurant was closed, but they put together a last-minute charcuterie board and some drinks for us. Clean rooms, great beds, central location, wonderful food and not enough can be said about the staff. Always welcoming, always smiling, just fantastic and charming. Easily would stay here again,...

Le personnel est serviable et, alors que je posais une requête un peu compliquée, j'ai eu la bonne surprise de la voir satisfaite à mon arrivée. "This hotel is simply amazing, the property is well kept: beautiful landscape, garden, restaurants and bar. We had breakfast and dinner which were well prepared. The breakfast came with fresh squeezed orange juice, variety of bread, crepes, meat and dinner menu has a wide selection, including kid’s plate, seafood, meat and desserts. They have an extensive dessert menu also. Everyone is simply attentive, kind, and welcoming. Receptionists, servers, and team members were fluent in English....

"Fabulous location with a beautiful ocean view, and it’s right next to the excellent d-day museum. No parking on site, but that’s not a big issue. There’s a public parking lot a two minute walk away, for a very reasonable price. The room was small and the most bothersome thing was the heavy cobwebs at the window - they could clean those windows once a month, perhaps."
