"Please do NOT stay here. There were mice in the rooms, the hallways and rooms smell really bad. The rooms are filthy from the walls to the ceilings with mold spots on them. Tubs look like someone died in them. When I told a staff member there was a rodent in my room he was very rude as if that was normal. None of the vending machines in the building work, nor does the ice, and the washers and dryers also do not work"

"The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly. But...the food in the hotel restaurant was overly complicated. This did not improve the food, in my opinion. There was, to me, a faint but persistent scent of dirty dishwater while in the dining room. My husband and I both became ill with stomach upset and frequent, urgent bathroom visits, after eating in the dining room. Coincidence? Perhaps. Food born illness and cross contamination issues? Also possible. We were also served the wrong dish on two separate nights. I do not blame the servers entirely for this. They were friendly and helpful. But looked, to me, to be understaffed. "

"The breakfast was pretty good, if you do not eat beef or pork you have to request an alternative with either the front desk or with a food server. There wasn't too many options, only pork bacon, eggs and sometimes pancakes or french toast. The pool wasn't clean the first 3 days of my stay, so that was very disappointing. "

"Breakfast was more of a grab and go, no hot foods and limited seating but fresh and fast. Great location for the price we would stay again. Customer Services were outstanding property is just dated and in need of a makeover. "

"We had a wonderful time at Pier 5. Staff was very accommodating, the room was a little out dated but we loved the balcony. Perfect location to park your car for the weekend and explore the Harbor. "

"The room was fairly clean for an older hotel. You can tell the furniture hasn't been moved around and cleaned under. The areas out in the open are clean. The bedding, sheets and towels are crisp and feel well washed. The front desk staff is very helpful. However, we asked for a 2nd room on the 14th floor and this wasn't able to be accommodated. Additionally, the staffing for the bar service at night given the capacity of the hotel was woefully understaffed. Overall, this hotel is ideal for attending the CIAA. It is one (1) block from the arena, has convenient parking and great staff. "
