We really enjoyed our short stay. The cabin was large and comfortable. The location was very convenient and the staff all very friendly. Would highly recommend ☺️
Enjoyed the cottage with front porch, fireplace, bathtub, living area, and retro appliances.
Nice welcome note and gift.
Staff were wonderful and accommodating.
Great food! Very convenient for hiking trails.
We loved our stay so much; the cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. Brittney at the front desk was so helpful and kind. Beautiful views and walks all around the property. It was super quiet despite it being the tour drop off point for johnston canyon waterfall. Check in/check out was easy. We 1000% recommend staying here, worth every penny.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Loved the cabin and area, restaurant was good! Only complaint was a slight musty sewer smell one evening.
This place is an absolute gem! Unplug from technology and enjoy the gorgeous mountain surroundings. The hike up to the falls is not to be missed. The cabin was rustic but full of simple upgrades to make you comfortable. The bistro and coffee shop were excellent. You will love your time there 😊
The cabin was sparkly clean, the front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the location couldn’t be any better. The most personal touch was that they left a welcoming note and a bottle of wine on the dining table before our arrival. We loved the experience and looking forward to going back.
Cottage was well set up for 2 couples each have their own room. And would be great also for a family.
We ate at the bistro I had the canyon burger and the others had the fish and chips . Food was really good and our waiter Rueben was really good.
I love being able to hike to the falls before or after the tourist are all gone .
This was our 4 th stay in a 3 year period .
The views are impressive.
What a gem! Cute, well kept cabins of all sizes on a beautiful property by the creek. Coffee/gift shop and restaurant/cafe are just down from the cabins. It is actually on the trailhead to several hikes which makes it extra convenient for an early start or even an evening stroll in nature.
Very cute cabin right at Johnston Canyon! The bathroom is unusual. Toilet and sink in one and bath tub, shower, and sink in the other. We were in cabin 1. Love the Mountain View!
We LOVED our stay! The area was beautiful, with hikes within walking distance. The cabin we had was updated, clean, and still cozy, with everything you needed for your stay right there, even including wood for a fire! We would absolutely love to stay here again when we return to Banff.
The cabin was very comfortable. Kitchen has dish ware and basic cookware. We enjoyed the fireplace and electric heater. The cabin area was very quiet even with all the tourists on the trail. We really enjoyed our stay.
First time staying here. The cabins are old, but very well kept and add to the charm. We loved the little porch and spent a lot of time sitting there, even saw a fox go by. It’s quiet and away from the noise of people visiting the falls. Parking right at your cabin, easy check in/out. We ate supper outside at the restaurant and quite enjoyed it.
