"Beautifully maintained and setup property that was great for our family visit. The property was very clean and well appointed. The staff left great communication on how to get to the property. Check-in was all online and super simple. Recommended."

"This condo was so cute, modern, very clean, just wonderful. It is in a private location but didn’t feel too secluded for female travelers. I felt safe, parking was easy, handicapped accessible ground floor. Met the owner, very nice man, he clearly takes lots of pride in his home and offering a great stay to his guests. There were a few snacks and drinks provided which was nice. Perfect location to visit Monteverde. Price was reasonable. I had NO bug issues here, which if you stay in Monteverde...

"Our family absolutely loved Koora Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely cared for by the staff (especially Jason who has already reached out to me in advance to understand our arrival time) and fell in love with the setting, which is nestled beautifully into the mountain forest. The service was impeccable, and the view overlooking the Monteverde cloud forest from the restaurant was truly epic. The food was so fantastic that we ended up eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner there...

"We loved our stay at your spacious little apartment. The room was perfect and the plants and trees there were beautiful. Our host, Arelys, was very knowledgeable and helpful in planning our outings. Her experienced husband took us on a night walk in the cloud forest and taught us a lot about the local flora and fauna. It was very educational and a lot of fun. Pura Vida! "

"Very nice hotel, beautifully decorated, beds and pillows very comfortable. We only stayed one night but it was a pleasure. Staff was very professional and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Appreciated that you ordered off a menu and not just a buffet. But. They also had buffet items out like cereal, fruit and bread. Overall wonderful experience."

"The views are great. Breakfast is fulfilling too. Consider this your lunch. Property is well maintained and very peaceful.the only one thing they can improve is providing clients with a trolly or something to carry bags from parking to their room. As the path leading to the room is all decorative pebbles the bag was heavy for me to carry it all the way to my room. Overall great stay during July 4th weekend."

"What a unique stay! Bungalows are in the woods surrounded by nature. We felt secluded and enjoyed the wildlife all around us. The hiking trails were wonderful, and the staff friendly and helpful. The bungalows are clean and modern and come with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Also conveniently close to restaurants and shops. Loved it!"

"Really enjoyed our stay here! One of our favorite places we stayed at! The fire pit and the views were stunning! We got some beautiful photos. The server in the restaurant I forget his name but he was wonderful as well. We also did the avocado trail and it was nice but we went a little late so it started getting dark. Def recommend doing it earlier in the day. Overall, very clean and friendly staff. Recommend!"

Quelques visiteurs non désirés se sont introduits dans la bulle (araignées et bestioles). Il faut s'y attendre en étant dans la forêt. "Our stay at Cala Lodge was an absolute delight! What a very special place Francisco and family have created! We loved staying in the Mathilda House. It was perfect for our family of 5, ages 14-82, nestled in the cloud forest with floor to ceiling windows. It was incredible to see wildlife pass by, we felt lucky to be guests in their well-loved and protected forest. We had dreams and conversations with the howler monkeys throughout the night, and agoutis, coatis and diverse birds were easily seen...
