I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Iriomote. There's lots of space on the property, including a massive bathroom and a huge terrace, with a sea view where you can see the stars at night.
There's also lots of wildlife that can be easily seen from many areas on the property, for example frogs and coconut crabs.
It's extremely peaceful, with only two rooms (and the other was unoccupied when we stayed)
The breakfast each morning is small but delicious, and they take...

I really enjoyed my stay here! Simple and peaceful, with a short walk to Fusaki beach and the ability to use the resort amenities at a price. Staff are very helpful and friendly. I loved stargazing on the porch. Breakfast was ok but the portions were tiny, it would also be nice to have a little more variety. The only real downside was that the bedroom walls were super thin so I could hear everything from next door.

Everything is fine. Just the English standard of the staff need to improve for non Japanese tourists.
One of the staff Ami , was the only one speak English and could help us.

Staff were very friendly and eager to help, and the hotel has good facilities, and even includes a convenience store for cheap snacks, though food in the bar was good and reasonably priced if you wanted a quick bite. They seemed to have evening performances on of different music which seemed a nice touch, and you can have a drink looking out to see at Iriomote as the sun sets. My husband and I had an absolutu fantastic stay here for 3 nights - it's the perfect base to explore the island while being located close to Ishigaki centre for great food options and amenities. The swimming pool was a fantastic length to do laps in, and the buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of western and Asian options. Our room was spotless with a beautiful view over the ocean. We will definitely be coming back to stay again!
