Good location on the edge of the village, room was large and great view but I would say that is the best thing about the hotel. The hotel is very basic and dated with limited facilities. No tea or coffee facilities in the room, no bar open, breakfast very basic and expensive for what was on offer. Very dated TV in rooms so could not connect to streaming TV likes of Netflixs, so not really much to watch, could go downstairs to the bar/reception as this was shut, so you need to go into the village for anything to do (and this was very limited on places to go). Staff was very pleasant and tried to help with ideas on where to go. Maybe it would be different in summer and the hotel may open the areas??? Needs to update the photos on the websites as it is not what is advertised.

Spacious room wit ha wonderful view! The staff was very friendly and the room comfortable. The curtains didn't block much sunlight, so sleeping in the morning was difficult. There was a faint smell in the room when we came in, but it disappeared soon. Overall, a very good value for money.

This hotel is a bit on the dated side. While the price was very reasonable and the staff was very helpful, it did feel a bit run down and tired. If you are a budget conscious traveler then likely this will fit the bill as it is safe and quite reasonably priced for the area. To be fair we were there in the shoulder season and maybe everything gets tidied up for the ski season. As for the area Igls is a nice quiet area that is close to Innsbruck, I highly recommend visiting Innsbruck and Igls as they are both wonderful places to visit in the Tyrol region.

Location is brilliant and the staff are incredibly welcoming.Public transport into Innsbruck was easy to access. Eco friendly. Our beds were dreadful and the sheets were worn through in spots. The outside balcony had layers of pigeon poo which was unpleasant. The photos on the internet were taken some years ago.

Igls is a quiet, cute town, and so even though the hotel was out of Innsbruck itself there were places to eat at night (though not too late). Hotel has fantastic views of the surrounding mountains, at least from the dining area. Breakfast was a good, standard European buffet. Transportation into town was easy: the bus stop was at the bottom of the hill, and one came every ten minutes all day. WiFi was good. The restaurant owned by the Gruberhof was almost entirely out of food when we got there, and everywhere is a smoking section.
