Incredible stay with family!

From the moment we checked in, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, answered all questions, took luggage and escorted us to our room. The hotel was had multiple pools, one just for kids. Great food service at the restaurants and the entire hotel was spotless clean. Rooms were very large and comfortable. Location was great, walking distance to the famous Bella Vraka beach and also the downtown area.

Beautiful place with great views and very clean!

It was so beautiful and sparkling clean I almost canceled the next stop of our trip to stay longer. Hope to get back there when the water is warmed up and we could enjoy the nice little private pool off our balcony with SUCH a great view. We both enjoyed our massages too!

Top notch resort with fantastic views. Excellent rooms, spacious, comfortable well equipped. Good bar, good dinning options and very good restaurant on property. Parking is tight, like all of Greece. Very friendly and service oriented staff. Frequency of service around pool can be improved.

Not value for money

Unfortunately we are very dissatisfied with our stay at this hotel and that is due to a various amount of reasons, the service was unprofessional and the hotel does not provide a five star resort experience. First of all we had to wait 45 minutes after our check in to get the keys to our room without any logical explanation to why. The service staff at the pool area was inattentive (they didn’t notice us at all when we first came, it took us a good 30 minutes before we could order). The service personnel yelled and made loud noises when clearing the breakfast area which is not the expected behavior for staff that work in a five star resort. The internet didn’t work at the hotel room at all. Positive things: The view Cleanliness All in all not value for money and we wouldn’t recommend staying there.

Το προσωπικό με ελάχιστες εξαιρέσεις ( πχ τα κορίτσια του εστιατορίου ) καθόλου ευγενικό και κάποιες φορές ειρωνικό που σε καμία περίπτωση δεν σου θύμιζε συμπεριφορά 5* ξενοδοχείου. Για το δωμάτιο δεν με συνόδεψε κανένας αλλά το βρήκα μόνος μου μετά από οδηγίες στην ρεσεψιόν . Οταν πήγαμε μέσα στο δωμάτιο βρηκαμε εκατονταδες μυρμήγκια το οποίο και αναφέραμε αλλα δυστυχώς δεν έγινε ποτέ τίποτα . Πετσέτες για την ιδιωτική πισίνα έπρεπε να πάρεις από την ρεσεψιόν και να επιστρέψεις τις προηγούμενες που κατακαλόκαιρο με περίπου 100 σκαλιά να ανέβεις ηταν απαγορευτικό . Το WiFi ανύπαρκτο όταν έχει πολύ κόσμο και σε συνδυασμό με το κακο σήμα έκανε την επικοινωνία με τον έξω κόσμο αδύνατη. Στα θετικά το φαγητό μέτριο προς καλό, η θέα πολύ καλή και η καθαριότητα πισίνας αρκετά καλή .

Το προσωπικό με ελάχιστες εξαιρέσεις ( πχ τα κορίτσια του εστιατορίου ) καθόλου ευγενικό και κάποιες φορές ειρωνικό που σε καμία περίπτωση δεν σου θύμιζε συμπεριφορά 5* ξενοδοχείου. Για το δωμάτιο δεν με συνόδεψε κανένας αλλά το βρήκα μόνος μου μετά από οδηγίες στην ρεσεψιόν . Οταν πήγαμε μέσα στο δωμάτιο βρηκαμε εκατονταδες μυρμήγκια το οποίο και αναφέραμε αλλα δυστυχώς δεν έγινε ποτέ τίποτα . The Sivota Diamond Spa Resort is situated at the top of a very large steep hill and walking access into the port town is very difficult especially for us as were travelling with 2 pensioners and a 1 year old baby this meant we had to drive each day down to the port or use a local taxi. There was not enough parking spaces for the amount of guests with cars staying. Our in room facilities were non existent - no in room kettle, no coffee or tea making facilities and we had so much trouble to heat up baby milk and food. We were told that we personally had to leave our rooms and walk upto the kitchen where staff would heat these for us. We were also abruptly asked to leave the dining room at 10.30am so that staff could get on with their daily set up even though we were only finishing up our coffee. Speaking of which the only option for coffee was the instant Nescafe from a machine as the espresso machine was not turned on in the bar until after breakfast service at 10.30am. There are also 3 pool areas in this complex and yet not one of them was sectioned off for "adults only" thus meaning we were constantly listening to children shouting and dive bombing into the pools when at times all we wanted was relax and enjoy the surroundings. In our opinion this hotel relies purely on its "Diamond" title than providing anything close to a 5 star experience. The nightly rate is over priced for what you get. I would not stay here again

Rudeness and misinformation

We called the hotel before booking to clarify why the Junior suite showed 2 different prices for 2 adults & 2 kids. We're told the difference was whether the bed sofa in the room was used for the kids or if you wanted separate beds (extra room). We were also offered to book & pay directly to the hotel if we chose the higher price (extra room) which then would include half board for free. Anyhow we decided to book online to get the lower price with the bed sofa for the kids, without half board and to pay extra for our meals at the hotel which we were told is always possible. We got the booking confirmation from hotels.com but later got a message that payment had not gone through. The hotel confirmed they couldn't see a booking at all but asked us to call back next day. Next day they still had no booking as payment had not gone through. I also was informed that we'd be charged the higher price for extra beds anyway!! We had been misinformed. As booking had not gone through yet, I asked if we could rebook then & have halfboard included in the price at least. Had we gotten the right info of course we’d chosen incl. half board as it was same price! “Miraculously” within a minute the payment went through + they charged the pricediff already. The rudeness of the woman on the other line was exceptional. An explanation & a simple no not possible had been enough. Unfortunately the offensive unkind attitude of this one woman when booking gave a negative tone to our whole vacation.
