Still good but needs help...

Beautiful place, quiet, relaxing, good atmosphere, great pool. But the hotel is clearly in need of care. And their savings efforts are obvious (poor breakfast buffet, apparent use of ground water that smells of rotten eggs...). Restaurant staff seems more interested in their smart phones than in serving guests.

Great quiet location set on a lovely beach. Lovely swimming pool. Sadly the resort is in need of some tender loving care. Our room was dated anď bathroom in need of renovation. With the exception of the pool area, the rest of the gardens need more care. Toilets in public areas not all functioning and no hand towels provided. Cleanliness could also be improved in the lobby toilets.

This is a great find in a remote and beautiful part of the Thailand coast. Very comfortable for families and right on the beach. loved it and would stay here again. A great well-kept secret!

Die Ausflugsangebote des Coral Hotels können wir weiterempfehlen. Das ist aber auch das einzigste. Das Hotel ist leider schon in die Jahre gekommen. In dringend nötige Renovierungen scheint nichts investiert zu werden. Entsprechend runtergekommen sind daher sämtliche Räumlichkeiten. Das Frühstücksangebot führt leider auch zur Abwertung. Sowohl das Angebot als sich die Qualität ist unterdurchschnittlich. Die Umgebung des Hotels führt ebenfalls zur Abwertung. Wer verwahrloste Gebäude und Bauruinen gut findet, ist im Coral Hotel gut aufgehoben.

The major disappointment of this hotel deals with the lack of hospitality from some staff towards locals (Thais). The hotel needs a major revamp. I had to check out one night earlier as I could no longer stay at this hotel. However, I am very happy with the GMs time and effort in listening to my complaints.

A Good Hotel Let Down By Restaurent Service

Had a lovely stay at the Coral hotel. Our Jacuzzi villa was well maintained and clean. The hotel is right at the beach with sun beds both at the pool and on the beach. The only negative is the restaurant. Breakfast was meant to be until 10am. By 9.30 there was very little left and nothing was replenished. We ate in the restaurant both nights so our stay. The first night was great. However the second night was the complete opposite. There appeared to some sort of set meal on for the half board guests. On entering the restaurant we ushered to the far end away from everybody else by being told (quite loudly) “over there, over there! We were then completely ignored for about 15 mins. There was no side plates, despite having bread. We were not offered a drinks menu. Through out our meal the service was poor compared to that being offered to the other guests.

Lovely French haven

PARADISE, that was my first thought as we arrived ! What a fantastic stay we had. The very spacious, attractive cottage with its large verandah and private jacuzzi was just marvelous. (very comfortable beds) We loved the stunning garden and wonderful pool. The staff was very friendly but also not intrusive at all. The massages next to the pool were also great. (our first in Thailand) The resort is right next to a beautiful beach and there are sun loungers for the guests to enjoy. We also drove around and explored the area: the Big Buddha and a cave with many, many Buddhas in, so there is enough to see and do in the area, that is if you would like to leave the place at all. Although the other guests were all predominantly French, even us non - French speaking people thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful place. We can only highly recommend it.

Nice and clean Hotel with a bit more than others

The hotel is located at a beautiful beach in a very calm area of Bang Saphan. The are only a few other small guesthouses and a handful number of snack bars. I would recommend to go there by car. Coral hotel itself offer you a large variety of trips in very different lengths. You can find a really great pool and a whirlpool in the center of the complex. All houses are placed in a beautiful park. The whole infrastructure is in a really good condition. You can join a sauna and massage hut next to the pool. We stayed in bungalow No. 1 which is located next to pool and restaurant. It was equipped in traditional Thai style. The bathroom and toilet have a western standard and were very clean. The beds in the children bedroom are arranged very extraordinary. You can find a small fridge with a well sorted minibar, an aircon and a TV in the main room. The king size bed is really comfortable. Further you can find a small balcony with rear view. The breakfast is really excellent with nearly all things you need to be satisfied. The staff is really sympathic and so friendly to children. The hotel is French managed and nearly all guests while our visit was French. That was quite interesting for us and a big plus because we have the possibility to join a few days in Bang Saphan with a natural French touch.

ห้องพักกว้างขวาง สะดวก สบาย แต่บรรยากาศรอบๆ ห้องพัก บางห้องก้อโอเค บางห้องก้อรกเกินไป และอยู่ในมุมอับ ซึ่งห้องที่พวกเราได้พักนั้น อยู่ในมุมอับ บรรยากาศรอบไม่โอเค (ก่อนจอง ได้โทรสอบถามและ request เบอร์ห้องพักไว้ โดยขอห้องที่บรรยากาศภายนอกโล่งๆ ไม่อับ และโรงแรมได้แจ้งแนะนำว่าเป็นห้องเบอร์ ....... และเมื่อไปถึงก้อได้ห้องที่ request ไว้ คือ เบอร์.........ที่โรงแรมแนะนำนั่นแหละ แต่จะบอกว่า สิ่งทีเรารู้สึกได้ คือ ห้องที่เค้าแนะนำ คือห้องที่เราคิดว่ารกที่สุดแล้วในโรงแรมเลย) จึงขอเปลี่ยนห้อง แต่โรงแรมบอกว่าห้องพักเต็มแล้ว (เซ็งสิคะ) แต่บอกว่าจะเปลี่ยนให้ในคืนถัดไป (ก้อยังดี) แต่จะบอกว่าการที่ต้อง move ห้องนั้น ไม่สะดวกสำหรับลูกค้าที่มาเที่ยวพักผ่อน น่ะค่ะ

Bon endroit en famille si vous avez des enfants mais pour visiter il ny a pas beaucoup de choses à faire... dommage les réceptionniste nous a pas aider pour réserver le bateau alors que les autres hôtel s'occupent de tout...femmes de chambres super sympa et resraurant. endroit incroyable dommage pas grand choses à faire en dehors..

เป็นที่พักรีสอร์ทสไตล์ไทย สะอาด สวยงาม พนักงานบริการดีทุกคนเต็มใจบริการ ที่นี่ฝรั่งพักเอยะมาก 90 % ขึ้นแล้วเกือบทั้งหมดเป็นฝรั่งเศส ก็จะดีตรงเงียบสงบไม่โช้งเช้ง เหมาะแก่การพักผ่อน Facility มีเพียบพร้อมเกินความคาดหวังกับราคา ไปพักห้อง Suite มีจากุชชี่ outdoor ให้ด้วย ห้องพักสวย กว้างขวาง ออกแบบใส่ใจในทุกรายละเอียด ชายหาดก็ใกล้ เดินข้ามถนนนิดเดียว ด้วยความที่ รร อยู่ปลายหาด ชายหาดเลยกลายเป็นหาดส่วนตัวโดยปริยาย อาหารเช้าอร่อย โดยเฉพาะข้าวต้มเครื่อง นอกจากนี้ยังมีอาหารฝรั่งเศสให้ลองด้วยเช่น ซัวซิสซง ครัวซอง และ ชีสต่างๆ

2e séjour en 10 ans globalement enchanté

Lieu magnifique, beau, qu'en dire? Seul bémol un Hotel qui reçoit principalement des français devrait se payer du personnel francophone. Cuisine excellente à partager avec les petits restos de plage à coté Sauf le jus d'orange diu petit déjeuner , au goût artificiel indigne du reste: acheter une machine à presser des oranges fraîches ou passer au Tropicana avec pulpe!!!! Mais celâ n'empéchera pas de réver y retourner
