Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort

"Lobby check in staff was rude. Bruce needs to be retrained on customer service skills. He sounded grouchy and over it just because we booked from a third party system instead of Hilton honors. Some people weren’t as helpful in directions such as the people selling timeshare properties. I asked to point out where the green lawn is and all I got was “over there”. Very dismissive. Cafe and market staff are however very friendly and helpful! They were trained well. Some parts of the hotel needs to be maintained more. Hotel room was clean and hotel was very spacious. Housekeeping was very nice and they made sure to change our towels daily. There were some cracks and dings on the property. The super pool was a little dirty and needs to be cleaned more. The paradise pool was great for the kids! All and in all we had a great experience despite some of the unfriendly staff and cleanliness of the property."

"Liked the central location. And the two pools and the coffee shop. Housekeeping was amazing and helpful. Bar drinks were lovely. Didn’t like that the bathroom door didn’t lock (broken?). Elevators usually very crowded."

"The hotel is older but has been kept up. Recommend getting the oceanview rooms, the city view was noisy from outside traffic and people. Do not recommend eating from the Grille, it's not good food. Overall, I would recommend the hotel but just have realistic expectations."

"The location was great and it was exactly what I paid for. I have no serious complaints considering I just used the hotel to sleep. Everything was standard and will definitely be back if I need a place to crash"

"Just be aware that the two story buildings (there is a tower building) do not have an elevator and it’s pretty difficult to carry your luggage up the steep stairs to the second floor of these buildings."
