"Was really nice to have breakfast included which is hard to find in this area and big cost saver for families. Staff and location were great as well. Lived being able to check out beach boogie boards and beach chairs. That was a nice bonus."

"This is THE place to stay on Waikiki if you want to have an amazing view and be close to the action. We were able to always find chairs at the pool. The beach is steps away. The oceanfront rooms were great. Yes, the hotel is older, but they have done a great job updating it. I wandered through the other big hotels and this would be where we stay when we return for sure."

"the room was clean, along with the bathroom and everything else about the room. there was an odd smell in the lobby, almost every time we went down there it smelled like urine in a way. the lobby LOOKED nice just smelled funky. the pool is only open until the sun sets so if you plan on doing beach days and want to also use the pool then youll most likely have to do separate days for both. to rent a cabana at the pool its $75 (i think is what they said) a person which is a bit outrageous in my opinion but they do have chairs that i believe are free. be sure to ask what is included in the final amount you may have to pay when checking out because they did say i owed an extra $70 something from drinks at the pool when i didnt get any drinks there but they fixed it no problem, so no biggy. the amenities are nice though, theres a pretty decent gym as well. the staff is very nice and very welcoming. also if you plan on renting a car just be aware the parking is a bit pricy with the hotel, it was $52 a night. most prices for parking garages in oahu are around that price though so its not too different than any other place. street parking only goes until i believe 6:30PM. so as a conclusion, you may be better off renting bikes/mopeds or even taking the buses around the island which is much more affordable. but i do highly recommend this hotel! but it would be nice if they could figure out where the smell in the lobby is coming from lol."
