Clydesdale Manor was beautiful in every way. The room, facilities, breakfast, position, outdoor area and staff were wonderful.
Bed extremely comfortable and room was great and the whole house was delightful.
Would recommend and stay again.
Loved the location and building. Room was spacious and modern. Nice continental breakfast and friendly staff.
Cover was just pulled up on bed and no dusting during our stay. Garden and lawn well set up but dry.
Lovely property with unique features.
Whilst on the main Sandy Bay road, it was still quiet and private and provided off street guest parking. It was walking distance to shops.
Each of the 7 rooms, plus upstairs apartment were private, and well appointed with quality ensuite bathrooms. The guest lounge with port & chocolates was a nice touch.
The highlight was the wonderful breakfasts provided by Linda the housekeeper staff member who cheerfully greeted guests each morning in the lovely breakfast room overlooking the rear garden. Wonderful service.
Only suggestion would be - have the air-conditioner units serviced, as the one in Room 2 was noisy.

What a fantastic find for us this was. The grandeur of this manor house was superb. Small enough to feel like home but with all the facilities of a larger property.
Our party of 2 retired couples had the apartment which had a large balcony with sea view, a large living and dining area and kitchen, whilst we had the separate huge bedrooms too. The only downside for us was having only one bathroom which was the furthest distance from the separate bedroom off the hallway so not ideal for toilet trips during the night.
That said we did have a wonderful time; the breakfast was an added bonus as was the port and chocolates in the evening- a lovely touch.
Would highly recommend, especially for a couple wanting a one bedroom apartment.
The room we stayed in was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was modern with a shower that worked well, although it did take a bit of time for the water to turn hot. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, offering quiches, toast and cereal. The location was excellent too, with restaurants just a short walk away.
Thank you for a great stay and the care and attention from the weekend staff. I'm sorry it took so long for me to review.
Cosy and clean room and bathroom with nice view from balcony. Great breakfast of fresh fruits, breads, spreads, cereals etc.
Pleasant walk to salamanca market.
Beautiful property room was immaculately clean and spacious nice large bathroom. Had suite with balcony at back which glad of as quieter being further from road couldn't hear a thing. Walk to Coles or to yacht club for meals. Friendly lady working there to give all local tips. Brekky good and there is a kitchen you can use.
Good little hotel/guesthouse to stay.
Communal kitchen is great and free port in lounge room very homely. Although we were in a front room not very much noise from the road. We walked to wrest point and had dinner at Boardwalk Bistro which was easy and lovely food.
Property manager very friendly and helpful. Luxurious setting. Excellent breakfast, the best I have ever had. Great parking facilities and excellent maintained gardens.
Very traditional manor house, nice and cosy rooms, good location for restaurants at walking distance. Check out is at 10:00, if it could be increased by an hour that would be helpful.
Clean, comfortable, good parking, quiet and secure. B'fast was good, the staff were friendly, helpful and hospitable. Walking distance to an assortment of good restaurants and easy access to the center of Hobart if wanted.
Picturesque and a nice place to stay. Handy to shops and places to eat. Walkable distance to Salamanca, and waterfront, which was handy. Port and chocolates were a lovely touch, and the continental breakfast was lovely - great sourdough bread! We would stay again 😊
