Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber. Das Personal war grösstenteils freundlich und aufmerksam, einzelne Ausnahmen ausgenommen. Das Essen schmeckte ausgezeichnet. Einziger Kritikpunkt: der Guide bei den Game Drives wirkte etwas lustlos und nicht besonders motiviert, was insbesondere auch deshalb Schade war, weil die Game Drives einer der Hauptaspekte eines Aufenthalts in der Rhino Ridge Lodge sind.

Wunderschöne Lodge

Wunderschöne Lodge. Sehr gemütliches Haupthaus mit toller Sicht. Daneben die einzelnen Gebäude mit den sehr schön eingerichteten Zimmern. Sehr aufmerksames Personal. Tolle Safari morgens und abends je 3 Stunden mit tollem Guide, wir haben viel gesehen. 3 sehr gute Mahlzeiten am Tag, auf der Safari gab es auch noch einen Snack. Optional kann man Bushwalk, Spa, Besuch eines Nachbardorfes machen, hatten wir gar nicht genug Zeit für alles was es gäbe.

Bien mais pas aux normes de sécurité

Établissement très agréable situé en plein cœur du parc. L’espace commun est agréable avec une vue exceptionnelle. Les chambres villas sont très confortables avec aussi une superbes vues. Le staff de l’hôtel s’occupe globalement bien des invités. Cependant nous n’avons pas eu de chance car il y a eu le feu le lendemain de notre arrivé. Nous avons du aider à éteindre les différents foyer des l’incendies et évacuer la chambre. L’hôtel ne dispose que de bassine et de petits sceaux en cas d’incendie (pas de lance à eau par exemple). C’est un gros point noir car en cas d’incendie plus important cela peut tourner mal. Une fois fini et une demi journée de perdu la direction n’a fait aucun geste commercial. Un couple de sud africain a demander à ce que nous soyons au moins tous changer de chambre car les chambres étaient enfumés. De plus tous nos vêtements sentent le brûle.

Excellent lodge . The Park is spectacular . We were not crazy about the game ranger - very sexist and opinionated - SIMO was his name - we also got into a situation with a bull elephant and frankly handled it badly. The spa treatments were excellent . The food quality and quantity was very good indeed . Would recommend and if you get Simo as a guide just ask for a change in game ranger and it will then be a highly rated experience .

Hôtel au top et royaume des rhinos

Très belle hotêllerie et restaurant de très bon niveau. Service au top comme souvent en AFS. Coté safari, moins bon que dans certaines réserves du Kruger. Pas de tracker et l'on siut la route. Les animaux sont trouvés plus par hasard qu'ils ne sont "pistés". Très peu de félins. Par contre, c'est le royaume des rhinos !!!

Prachtige villa’s , schitterend gelegen. Super schoon. Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt en lunch perfect. Mooie game drives. Alleen het diner viel wat tegen voor deze 5 sterren locatie. Alle gerechten zijn al ruim van te voren bereid en op borden gedaan. Soms gedeeltelijk koud, groentes smakeloos. Wordt ook razendsnel na elkaar opgediend, binnen een half uur kun je uitgegeten zijn. Jammer.

Der Aufenthalt war toll! Das Essen war super lecker und wir haben viel gesehen und gelernt über Tiere, Pflanzen und Natur. Unser Ranger Sibo hat sich so viel Mühe gegeben und es ganz toll gemacht. Er kennt sich super aus und weiß wo er hinfahren muss und wie man Spuren liest. Er hat wirklich Adleraugen! Andere Reisende mit anderen Ranger hatten wohl weniger Glück und haben nur ganz wenig gesehen. Was uns nicht so gefallen hat war, dass wir dass das Mittagessen gemeinsam mit den anderen Reisenden an einem großen Tisch eingenommen werden musste. Hat etwas von Zeltlagerathmosphäre.

Wonderful lodge in great location

Wonderful lodge with high level of service in very nice location!! The price is at the high end, however we did feel that we got lots of value for money so it was definitely worth it! We can only recommend this great place :)

Superior Safari Lodge with excellent views

We had a wonderful 2 night stay, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent. The room and views superb. The morning and evening game drives included in the room price made this the best safari lodge we have ever stayed in. We will return.

Eerlijke prijzen drankjes! Lekker en goed eten. Weinig info tijdens safari (theo),veel olifanten in het park. Jammer dat bij deze kamerprijs de entree van het park er niet bij inzit.(achteraf rekening)

tolle neuere lodge an erhöhter lage.

toller service von a bis z. auch lebensmittelunverträglichkeiten sind kein problem. die fahrt zur lodge dürfte bei regen für ein auto ohne allrad herausfordernd sein. unbedingt eine karte kaufen beim gate oder sich vorher genau informieren über die zufahrt.

An expensive alternative to SanParks lodges

If you are capable of driving here in your own car then you can drive anywhere in the national park on your own. The game drives are on national park roads and not on the private concession which is tiny. No off-roading allowed even for the vehicles of the lodge so no advantage by staying there. Yes it is comfortable and has good food but that doesn't justify the price.

Superbe sejour

Magnifique Lodge au coeur du park. Personnel très aimable et accueillant. Les chambres sont magnifiques. Deux safaris par jour sont proposés et inclus dans le prix. Je reviendrai avec plaisir
