"We had originally booked for an event in Barrie and this location was very close to the Georgian theater. The following day we did go to Blue Mountain and it was a very short drive. Although the hotel looks a bit shabby from the outside, the rooms were clean and well appointed. What really stood out was the stuff who were really friendly and did a great job with check-in and breakfast."

"Room windows were painted-shut, no way to open them. Room was equipped with a heater, but didn't have A/C, humidity stayed in and air wasn't renewed enough. Room doors aren't soundproofed enough, I had the bad luck of staying over a hockey weekend, and kids were running around and playing hockey in the corrider in front of my room, while parents were drinking beers and eating pizza next to them. Had to call front desk twice to get order restored (some people are working...) Cleanlines could have been better as well, while not the worst."

"While the room is nothing fancy or modern, the comfort was top! Cleanliness is acceptable and what to expect from an older-style hotel. Breakfast was decent, and staff was amazing. Front Desk's Robert went above and beyond to accomodate my mistake, whoch he didn't have to, but chose to anyway."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Comfort Inn in Orillia thanks to Alex at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, Alex was incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about making guests feel comfortable, but Alex truly goes above and beyond. Their customer service was exceptional — friendly, efficient, and thoughtful in every interaction. They made the check-in process seamless and were happy to answer questions and ensure everything about my stay was perfect. Alex is a fantastic representative of the Comfort Inn brand, and their positive attitude really stood out. Because of service like this, I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this location to others. Thank you, Alex, for making my stay such a pleasant one!"

"The checkin staff was amazing. Ive stayed here dozens of times thru the years. Always a nice place to go. The TV in our room only got 2 channels, and our air conditioner didnt work. This place is sadly doing downhill. The sauna in the mens changeroom doesnt work anymore. And hasnt for a long time, but the one in the womens does. Beds were clean, had a good night of sleep. The fridge in the room we had (room 108) didnt work properly. Cant believe theyre letting this place go like this. The hottub was absolutely gross, the pool is loosing all the paint in the bottom. Paint peeling from the bridge over the pool on the bottom along with rust makes for a sore and sad sight. Ill still come back, as i really like this place, and the room was clean, but they really need to start doing repairs and maintenance on the property. Wondering if they may end up having to close their doors."
