this is a fine, budget friendly choice with staff that is friendly and attentive. it is at a busy intersection, but the rooms were muffled sound. the internet was very fast, but we had intermittent disconnects which is difficult to handle for important video conference meetings.

Good price, good location. Comfortable and clean bed. I do think the paint and bathroom maintenance and cleaning could be improved. However, the place did not seem to have dusty carpets nor dusty surfaces, which impressed me.

I liked the owner/receptionist. He was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had the basics we needed. It was all old and a little run-down looking but very adequate for the price.

From start to finish this place was a joke, the instant smell of the rooms was nasty, everything was ourdated the fridge didnt even work, the bathroom door wouldnt shut right, they literally covered a hole in the door with a floor tile, the air and heat was a literal joke and not to mention the lady working the counter was down right rude and no help what so ever, me and my friend had went into the lobby to ask for a extra towel and a pillow because her pillow on her bed was dirty, she was ignorant and said come back in the morning...you need pillows to sleep, and my friend was like its fine you can just use the towel i already to which i said no i shouldn't have to use a towel that you used already so needless to say we ended up driving all the way into ohio like an hour away at like 1130 at night to Meijers just to get towels and a pillow, we paid for a room for the weekend and service comes with that so we thought i highly recommend you just pay the little extra to stay somewhere else because between the owners and the way the place is in general its not even worth the money you would save, i was highly disappointed not to mention there was bugs too. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COST

It’s an older place but the owner is very nice they keep it clean and for the to price come on you won’t find a place with better water pressure Yes it’s outdated but it’s still better then most expensive places

I had a recent stay at the motel this past weekend in room 104 the bed was comfortable. The heat was good and the TV had a lot of stations and the gentleman at the front was nice and every time he saw me ask if I needed anything, and if I did need anything, just come up to the front desk.

Thank you for your review. However, the issues that you mentioned were never an issue. The TV had been messed up by improper use by the user. However, our maintenance team had come and fixed it right when you mentioned it. Secondly, we showed you how to use the heater and even offered to keep it going so the room could heat up, but you said you wanted it off. There had also been a blanket and comforter in your room. Sorry for the dissatisfaction you may have felt but we had done everything to make your stay pleasant. Thanks!

A good value
The room was clean and comfortable. There was no coffee maker in the room but otherwise it was fine. The good news is that there are a lot of restaurants in the area. The bad news is that there are no sidewalks or crosswalks, so walking across the 4 lane highway or down the street is dangerous.

It is a motel
I rate kind of like how they judge dogs. So I rate this based on other motels not against hotels, extended stay suites etc. My son and I had an event in Youngstown and decided at rhe last minute the drive there would require we leave way earlier than I wanted, so I was looking for something cheap with two beds. We would be there about 8 hours total, so perks like breakfast, a pool, etc would be wasted. So if you want/need that stuff, this place isn't what you want. Room was clean. Sheets were clean. Room was not real bright, but did not smell. Toilet ran until handle was jiggled. Standard tub with shower. We got there around 10:30 office was locked, but someone came withing 30 seconds of ringing the bell. Could not pay ahead and had to fill out a paper form which felt old school, but at least they had a modern credit card reader. Room had a key, no key cards. There was a bucket for ice, I am not sure where ice machine is, didn't need it. Motel is on the main drag, but I did not notice traffic. I might have given 5 stars instead of 4, if not for the WiFi. We were two doors down from the office, but wifi was a very weak signal. Wasn't really an issue because we went to bed as soon as we got there and left right after we woke up.

Customer service excellent! Old hotel with needed repair issues but clean! Pillows & bed hard & uncomfortable! Location good! Right by several stores & restaurants! Price is reasonable! We’ve stayed here before & will continue to for WaterFire Festival! If you’re looking for luxury, this is not the place but if you’re looking for good priced, clean place to stay, not a bad place!

My second stay in two months
They're very inexpensively priced, and get a high guest rating. That's my perfect combination. I only care about cleanliness, decent mattress, and good water pressure/ hot water. The staff was pleasant, too. Close to restaurants, shopping if needed.

You get what you pay for.
You get what you expect for the cheaper price point. The rooms are very dated with clearly old furniture, every room is a little bit different in terms of what's a little janky in it. Room service is very nice and cleans the rooms everyday, but be aware pretty much every towel and bedsheet they gave me had an old stain on it somewhere. Not the worst place you can stay if you're on a budget and the area is actually nice with lots of restaurants and stores.

The people who run the property and probably own it are lovely. The property itself is very basic and very 1950s hotel but it was clean for the most part the bathroom really could use a good scrub down, but the carpeting was new and the bed was very comfortable. I would not recommend it as a good family destination unless it was for a very quick overnight, the amenities are extremely basic but if you’re just looking for a good nights sleep at a very affordable price, you can’t go wrong.
