"Great location for northern lights and cozy spacious rooms! Host messaged about room number to check into 2 days ahead. Hot tub and sauna are on the roof of centermost rooms of property. Oddest thing was tea bags with sugar, but its the only place I've ever stayed with no coffee machine? "

"Originally we only planned to stay here one night but airline cancellations required us to stay an additional three nights. Staff at the hotel were able to accommodate our needs and actually provided a room upgrade. There is some construction going on that affected parking but everything else was great. "Enjoyed my stay here. The hosts are very welcoming & helpful. Checkin is clear and also has Igdlo sign on building for easy find. Location is close to basically everything, and Bus 55, which saves over $25 round trip to KEF airport. The room and shared bathroom were always clean also. The rooms are small and the lighting not so bright, but overall it was fine, and a very good value for an expensive place like Iceland."

"Solo traveller - Warm welcome. Everywhere clean. Very comfortable room. Lovely staff. Excellent choices for breakfast and dinner, good quality food. Prices are high but that is the same wherever you go in Iceland. Lovely spa and pool. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
One thing I would point out, you must book a seat on the return bus to the bus station/airport. Don’t, like me, assume the bus will just turn up. If you don’t book it with reception it won’t come.
