I took a wonderful backcountry hike at Red Rock Canyon State Park. The area has amazing geology and beautiful plant and wildlife. 7 miles of hiking through dry creek washes, trails and OHV track. The campground at this park is impeccably kept. #Hiking #CAStateParks #Camping #Desert #Redrock

Parking issues: Was told the parking at the hotel was $17 a day to save a space, but that they did had “free” parking at the motel next door “budget in” so we parked there. The next morning was told by the front office guy to move my car or ir will be towed, we told him we were autorized to park there and he did not take it well, we finally had to move and park on the street.
