We stayed here for 6 days and everything was perfect. The food and drinks were fantastic, and the hospitality was superb! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were beautiful and extremely clean. The pool was also clean, and very nice. The hotel itself is well located. It’s about a 20-30 min walk to the capital Fira. Also, if you want to see the perfect sunset, it’s just a 5 min walk from the hotel. Without a doubt would recommend!

The rooms very super nice, big and very clean. The breakfast was great. The staff was amazing to talk to, super helpful. The area of Imerovigli is super nice to live and at short distances from Oia and the airport Side Note: The car rental company down the road from this place that goes by the name 'We Travel' and 'Blue Island rental' are absolute cheats, behaving like goons and trying to make money by false claims of damage to vehicles. Steer clear (they are not related to this hotel). Please check the other rental companies nearby.

The property was lovely. We were in the honeymoon suite and it was spacious and had an incredible view. We were so excited to use the jacuzzi and it was just like warm. We couldn’t go in it at all because it was way too cold. That was a huge bummer. It also would’ve been nice to have somewhere to put our clothes. There’s not a dresser or drawers so we lived out of our suitcases the whole stay. Otherwise, we had a great time. The staff was very sweet.

What an exceptional property! My room with a view was stunning, clean and beautiful property. Upon check-in we were greeted with a nice refreshing drink on the patio overlooking the pool and the views! WOW the views... I mean what else can I say! The staff were all great, friendly and helpful with everything and anything we needed! Joana was amazing, super friendly and helpful. I can't say enough how wonderful my stay was and will definitely be staying here again!!!

This place was so lovely and the staff were so incredibly kind. The rooms are so clean and I love they way they are designed. The pool area is nice and quiet away from people being able to see you as you swim, unlike many other properties in the area. Also the breakfast options every morning were so good.

Fantastic stay in a small boutique hotel offering very attentive and kind service, delicious food and great location with quality local restaurants and options to see the rest of the island. Amazing view of the Caldera from our balcony. The hotel is a complete antidote to the commercialisation of the rest of the island. Thank you to Ioanna and her team!

We just finished our stay at Mergovilia. We are actually waiting for our ferry to our next destination, that’s how compelled I am to write. We stayed 4 nights 5 days and our stay was perfect. The manger and staff did everything to help make our time in Santorini exceptional and our stay in their home personable. Johanna the manager helped organize reservations, car rentals, advised on tourist attractions, restaurants and more! They aim to be helpful without being intrusive and they do it well! Want to enjoy that famous Santorini sunset? Skip Oia. Take the staircase behind the hotel to the cauldera pathway and enjoy. Thank you Johanna and Team for feeding us and taking care of us so well. Was a stay to remember!

My husband & I loved our stay! From the moment we arrived, they exceeded our expectations. From accommodating our late arrival (including a very late dinner) to the super nice waiters and waitresses at the restaurant who served us every morning (and remembered our favorite drinks) we felt so welcome and special. The music during the day and while dining was such a vibe. The rooms were beautiful- shout out to the cleaning team, they were so sweet and some how timed the cleanings perfectly with when we would step out. 10/10 thank you everyone for a beautiful stay, until we meet again! Yamas!

A highly recommended gem of a boutique hotel
The Meroviglia is a hidden gem of a boutique hotel in Santorini. Being in Imerovigli means there are very good bars and restaurants within a two minute walk of the hotel. The pool is visible only to those who know, unlike other hotel pools and lounging areas on the Caldera, allowing us to relax in the sun without being overlooked by passing tourists. The complex is spotlessly clean, with the very comfortable rooms being of good size and finished to a high standard. We were fortunate enough to have a room overlooking the Caldera, waking up to beautiful views of the sea, Fira and the south of the island. The on site restaurant, which I think was converted from a 200 year old traditional Greek house, keeping many tradional features and adds genuine charm to the complex. It serves very good Italian food all day, with the evening menu offering different options to the lunch time/day menu. The breakfast options are excellent too! The last word needs to go to the people that create the relaxed and happy atmosphere at The Meroviglia, the excellent staff. They are welcoming, attentive, knowledgeable and friendly, who in our experience, go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and to help with any questions, whether it be places to visit/eat or advice on car hire etc. It is unfair to name names as everyone was fantastic, though a special mention needs to go hotel manager Joanna, who happily went the extra mile to ensure our holiday was a memorable one, so thank you Joanna!

What an amazing place! From the moment we arrived, we felt part of the Meroviglia family. The staff’s kindness and willingness to make your stay as perfect as possible is unbelievable. The manageress, Ioanna, was particularly kind in letting us keep our room as late as they could so we could continue enjoying the perfect oasis that is they pool courtyard. We loved the place so much we had to stay again on our way back from Naxos. Special mention to Jim who made sure we were not wanting for anything at anytime.
