Mini refrigerator was not plugged in nor wall socket had room. The door lock was not functioning at all so couldn’t fully lock the door plus the bottom right had a gap between the door itself and the molding exposing the outside. Wall socket that connected to nightstand/charging area was going out so none of the amenities could stay consistently connected, the toilet seat was oval shaped and larger than the bowl so not the correct seat so made things awkward when used, the shower floor was semi black and found hair, I’m assuming from previous guest, on the shower wall, and just over it was just very gross.
It was a pretty run down place, had a couple people that were doing drugs in the parking lot sitting in their vehicle with the doors wide open, and other travelers that had children witnessing it. Guess it comes down to you get what you pay for.
For others’s planning to book here, there’s a reason it’s cheap besides it being a motel and not a hotel. When I did arrive there, there was a double shooting that happened 2 hrs before. My girlfriend and I did decided to cancel after the night passed since we didn’t feel safe but we did get refunded for the stay we booked. Staff was understanding since it was a rare occurrence but was told later by family members that it is a shady place to stay. Another thing, room doesn’t quite look like the pictures and room was very dusty causing my allergies to act up.
Very disappointed with this stay.
The motel’s website clearly advertised a public pool and hot tub. Before booking, I even called to confirm and was told they do have a public hot tub. After we arrived and asked when it opened, we were suddenly told there is no public hot tub at all and that only some rooms have a private one. That is extremely misleading since a public hot tub was advertised and confirmed over the phone.
Another major issue was the air conditioning. Air conditioning was listed as an amenity, but when we arrived the room felt like a sauna. We turned the heat all the way down and left for a couple hours, hoping it would cool off. When we came back, it was still unbearably hot. We asked to switch rooms but were told we couldn’t, even though it looked like only a couple other rooms were occupied. Then staff told us none of the rooms have air conditioning at all and suggested we just keep the window open.
On top of that, the cleanliness was unacceptable. The floor was dirty, there were nail clippings in the bed, and the bathroom was flooded when we arrived.
I understand this isn’t a luxury hotel, but I’ve stayed in many low-rated motels before and never experienced anything like this. Between the misleading amenities, lack of air conditioning, refusal to switch rooms, and poor cleanliness, this was easily the worst motel stay I’ve ever had.

Disliked: Amenities
Had to change rooms because doors wouldn’t lock. The mattress was SHOT. Springs wearing through the top. Had to call for a microwave after room switch. Housekeeping was lovely and they did a great job with clearing snow.
Broken side walk to my room. The heat didn’t seem to work properly. Limited electrical outlets

The room was so cold that we froze the entire night there were no blankets on the bed and the bedspread had cigarette burns. No coffee maker in the room as advertised. The floors were dirty and the vents had a layer of dust so thick you couldn’t see the paint. . The TV picture was so bad it was hard to see what we were watching. The staff was very nice but could only work with what they have. There was a gap so big in the door you could see the parking lot with a very cold wind coming in
first room they gave me has a bullet hole in the window. the tv didn't work and looked like it was from 1980. the second room the tv came on but there is no remote control. some guy was squealing his tires half the night in the parking lot and screaming at some other guy and lady. between all the screaming and the cops showing up I got zero sleep.
Floor was nasty, bare feet were black as coal after walking across room once. Found live bed bug next morning.

The price is good for what you get, and trust me. The service ain't bad it's actually very good they have employees who are working at the highest standard of service.
The problem is that maybe because of the low price you get all of this unpleasant customers which make the facilities unsafe for other people who are just trying to rest, enjoy their vacations or whatever on top of that there's a stigma around people who stays at this hotel (Uber and Lyft drivers are always surprised when they have to pick you up or drive you there, because they consider this is not a good place for a foreign tourist or for families)
And that's a shame because as previously stated this is a good hotel with clean rooms and excellent service, it could be better with a little bit more security for the employees and for the people around. There's hot water, the sheets are clean and everything smells generally ok.
