The room was very clean, and the staff was very nice. They had fresh coffee at all hours. It’s also extremely close inconvenient. If you are doing anything at Tarleton State University.

Hmmm. Just ok

Great staff and a very friendly reception at check in. This hotel is absolutely fine but getting a little old and tired. In need of a bit of a make over and TLC. We would probably stay again but only because there are limited other options. Definitely better than the Best Western Plus in Stephenville where we previously stayed, but only just.

They had a nice breakfast set up. The lobby area was very welcoming. The room was nice and clean, however it smelled a little musty. We will stay there again.

I had a wonderful stay. The hotel was conveniently located to the places I needed to go during my stay, the staff was very friendly and the premises were very clean. I especially appreciate that it is a pet-friendly hotel and was given a room with easy access in and out for my dog's and my convenience.

spilled makeup unnoticed

Staff was kind and pleasant. Makeup was found on our bedding and they immediately replaced it and gave us some water/snack for the inconvenience. Surrounding area was nice.

Great stay, however, I didn’t make reservations in advance, took a chance and just showed up. At the counter, I was told there were no rooms available. I returned to my vehicle and reserved a room through Expedia with no problem. When I returned to check in and provided my confirmation number the lady at the counter again told me that there were no rooms available. I asked her to check the confirmation number and after discovering I had a reservation, her demeanor changed completely. Not sure how that works but I’d like to know why I was initially turned away but found a room on Expedia. Overall, the stay was good.

Horrible Service

We were supposed to have a double Queen room. Were told it was overbooked and all that was available was a king with a pull out sofa bed. The sofa bed was uncomfortable and not enough blankets. Room was not clean and staff was unwilling to help. Changed rooms the next day to a double and the remote to tv didn’t work. We went to the front desk 5 times for assistance and the attitude was horrible by the staff and they would not help at all. We usually select Hampton due to consistency. They’re usually clean, service is great and we know what to expect. This is the second time we’ve stayed at this Hampton and both times were extremely disappointing. We will NOT give this Hampton our business again.
