The hotel is located just outside the center, so everything can be reached by foot. It has a nice garden with small pool. At night it's very quiet. The breakfast is plentiful and of good quality. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The only criticism is the rather old and very noisy AX.

O hotel em si é lindo e muito bem localizado, dá pra sair a pé e até o centrinho de Gramado tranquilamente. A equipe sempre muito atenciosa e cordial, o café da manhã é bem diverso, com alguns itens típicos da região e o ambiente é bem aconchegante e agradável. A cama é confortável, mas vale salientar que o quarto e principalmente banheiro precisam de renovação. O quarto é bem escuro e pouco iluminado, que não favorece caso necessite ler/trabalhar, ou até mesmo fazer uma maquiagem. Além disso só há uma tomada no quarto e uma no banheiro (então precisa revezar para carregar os eletrônicos).

Nossa estadia no Hotel das Hortênsias foi simplesmente excelente! O hotel impressiona em todos os aspectos — desde a limpeza impecável até o atendimento de primeira qualidade. Todos os funcionários são extremamente atenciosos, simpáticos e prestativos, sempre prontos para ajudar com um sorriso no rosto. O ambiente é lindo e acolhedor, cercado por jardins bem cuidados e uma decoração charmosa que combina perfeitamente com o clima de Gramado. O quarto é muito aconchegante, com sistema de calefação automático, que garante o conforto térmico ideal mesmo nos dias mais frios da serra. O café da manhã é maravilhoso — um dos melhores que já experimentei! Há uma grande variedade de comidas e bebidas, todas muito frescas e saborosas, com destaque especial para a tapioca feita na hora e o chocolate quente cremoso, típicos da hospitalidade gramadense. Em resumo, o Hotel das Hortênsias oferece uma experiência completa de conforto, beleza e atendimento de excelência. O hotel é uma graça, bem aconchegante, bonito. Cama confortável, chuveiro bom. Os atendentes são muito agradáveis, especialmente a Débora, muito simpática e prestativa. Crítica construtiva: o banheiro precisa de reforma. Está bem velho, torneira solta, espelho caiu do nada em cima da pia, água vazando atrás do vaso. Mas o chuveiro é muito bom.
