Great little motel in a small country town. Very comfortable, though rooms a little dated….nevertheless have everything you need. Great parking and outdoor areas. Perfect for Tradies away and with need to stay over. You can get meals from local cafe or there is a food land in the Main Street.

The first thing I check is whether the rooms have allocated parking, The Goomeri Motel does. Easy to find, within walking distance of the town, quiet location. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. This was my second stay and I will book again.

Goomeri gathering October 2024

I attended the HF Radio Club gathering at the Goomeri Showground in Qld. Most of our members have their own motorhomes, caravans, etc. but I recently sold mine so opted to stay at the Goomeri Motel. The new manager Malcolm was friendly and helpful, the rooms are self-contained and a couple of barbecues are available for patrons' use. The previous managers allowed the place to become very run-down so this problem is being addressed. Please note that there is NO bar or restaurant at the motel but the pub is literally two minutes' walk away; I didn't check about breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

A very decent highway motel. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Mostly clean (shower, kitchen/bathroom taps and spout, and kettle need a good clean, and two of the four coffee mugs were dirty ... an easy fix though). Super comfy bed!! Wonderful to have the outside seating area surrounded by plants to eat breakfast. There's a lot of highway noise during the day, but it drops right off at night. Location is a feature. Easy walk to shops. We would recommend this motel to others.
