The building is dated but well maintained. Our unit was large with full kitchen, 2 bedsand 2 bathrooms and laundry. However, there was no AC in the bedrooms and in Summer time it was quite warm and even uncomfortable. There was AC in the living room thankfully. Also the building has no disability access. If you're elderly or injured it's not easy to get up all the stairs from the under ground parking area to the units. The location is great. Walking distance to a beautiful patrolled beach and surf clubs and close to Broadbeach. Pool and spa were great. Managed well. If you don’t care about AC or climbing stairs it's good value. Luved that it was non smoking too!

Very close to the beach and Nice family friendly restaurants . Some Stairs to get up to the apartments so pack light . Parking available and once the transport finishes soon for the tramway it will be amazing. Close to large supermarket and a central location . Beds were very firm . Apartment very practical and well equipped

Our room was great had every thing we needed , really enjoyed the pool and spa. We arrived early and our room was available to go in which we really appreciated. The only negative was the lights which randomly came on during the night other than that would definetly stay here again.

Great place. Apartments were a great size and a bonus 2nd bathroom. Air conditioned and a laundry too. Pool was a great size and the whole place was tidy. Car parking was underneath the block. Steve the manager was amazing to communicate with. Its about 100m to the beach and 40m to the bus stop. The metro is being extended down and will soon stop right at the bottom of the street. Being out of surfers was a bonus. Kids were able to chill.

Apartment spotless. Very clean and tidy. I would definitely come back and recommend. The only thing I would suggest improvement is the internet. Wifi doesn’t work well. Maybe needs a better router and provider.

We love Montana Palms Resort!!

Thank you Julie and Steve for the most amazing mini vacay we’ve had for years!! I almost didn’t book this place after reading some people’s reviews, the building may be a little older but the apartments are so well appointed and absolutely spotless and the location is incredible and completely unaffected by the Gold Coast Highway road work chaos that’s going on right now. The pool is absolutely beautiful and gorgeous Mermaid Beach is not even 100m down the street with various places to eat and coffee. Absolutely everything was provided in the apartment and the provision of beach towels was also appreciated as we spent most of our four days in the water! The secure underground parking was also a plus, especially when driving a rental car and worrying about leaving it in the street. I can’t even think of one thing that could have made the stay any better, I loved it, my kids loved it and this is my new go to when hitting the Gold Coast in future, I’m not even going to look anywhere else! Value for money isn’t even comparable when you know what you get in all of the run down, dank Gold Coast motels that would have been more expensive than this and a lot less secure and enjoyable! If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, don’t hesitate to book Montana Palms, 5 Star, in my opinion!!

The apartment was VERY spacious and VERY WELL equipped. It had loads of useful kitchenware, including a blender, sandwich press, containers etc, and even scissors, as well as the more standard equipment. There was also a cute little desk at which I got lots of online work done. Nearby cafes [Bam Bam and Rafiki, for example] were great, as was the pretty Mermaid Park. The 777 Express bus stop to the airport was also very close by, so it was a breeze getting to the airport. [The 777 stops at limited stops, but there are also buses to other destinations that stop at that Mermaid Park stop] With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a washing machine and dryer, everything was easy. The only thing that disappointed us was the lack of a bathtub. I and my travelling companion had been longing for a soak in a bath.

It’s quiet, but it’s old. Aircon only worked on cooling down not warming up. Front door didn’t lock properly so felt a little insecure. The milk in the fridge was off, better to bring your own
