"The only positive points were the access to the sauna and swimming pool. The rest: avoid it! Very old and uncomfortable beds and pillows. No A/C or Fan and the rooms are massively hot and humid: inferno style. Our room was besides the fitness room: we had fun all afternoon and until 10pm. "

"The building and exterior of the property are beautiful. Like a countryside serenity. I loved eating outside at the restaurant everyday. My only complaint was about the room- they were very dated and did not come with a coffee machine, no fan, no AC. Dated not in a nice antique way, they just looked like...

"Lovely, lovely. The proprietors and cook are friendly and considerate. There are many interesting features in the home, its decor, and the gardens. Our room (the Belvedere) was spacious—bedroom with sitting area, bathroom, living room with sitting area. The delicious breakfast was multiple courses and served on authentic heirloom quality dishes. The surrounding village, forest, and lakes are beautiful. A magical stay."
